Your_Su_Phu Posted December 1, 2008 at 06:39 AM Posted December 1, 2008 at 06:39 AM Idk if it's my computer or what.. I've downloaded all the codecs/players listed but none of them can play the sur les plaines files (that are huge) without a video delay (sound works fine. video slows down and then freezes period) does anyone have the same problem? Bellamy Posted December 1, 2008 at 07:02 AM Posted December 1, 2008 at 07:02 AM What's your computer spec? CPU, ram, video card. Sounds like it's your computer is not fast enough to play H.264 HD video. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
Your_Su_Phu Posted December 1, 2008 at 07:35 AM Author Posted December 1, 2008 at 07:35 AM thanks for responding. im kind of illiterate when it comes to this stuff so I may be wrong here..but I believe if I'm looking at the right thing the memory ram is 248 MB and the cpu is intel ® pentium ® 4 cpu 2.40GHzvideo card is built in Intel ® 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controller actually my computer died recently and so the one i'm using (which is loads crappier) is an old cheap one we found at a garage sale. =/ it's probably the reason I can't watch these files I think I may just transfer the files to another computer and try it on there :S Quote
Bellamy Posted December 1, 2008 at 08:51 AM Posted December 1, 2008 at 08:51 AM CPU is a bit too slow, and ram is too little, not to mention the video card has no hardware accelerate for h.264 at all. So those are the reasons you can't play the HD videos. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
