My name is Goran Kay and I’m a singer/songwriter in London – I’ve been a long-standing fan of Celine and have recently written/recorded a song that I wanna pitch to her …

I've got to praise this talent of yours again. It's too good! You do know how to sing, to make a song. It's wonderful. It's, for sure, the best thing I've ever heard here in this Celine Channel Idol. I never saw here such an inspiring masterpiece.

Well "Another Day" was actually recorded by a british band called G4 ... it was on their second album ... so the lyrics will be somewhere on the internet I suspect ...

wow this songs are really amazing. your voice is very good. I really love it. Celine could be very proud to sing this song from you. Even she sings very good I would like this song recorded with your voice.

Another question : how do you get inspired to write those lovely songs ? And who sings " my man " ? Why did you not sing this song ?

To answer your questions, the girl who sings "my man" is a very good friend of mine who has the most incredible voice (as you can hear) ... she actually lives in holland too!!

 

As for why I didn't sing it myself, well I wrote that for a female singer ... I don't think it would have suited my voice as a singer ...

 

Finally, writing songs is something I've been doing for years ... and they come in different shapes and sizes and from different sources of inspiration ... I'm definitely a melody-man ... so I tend to write the music first and the lyrics sort of follow naturally ...

Hey Goran, you are a brilliant talent, I wish Celine will consider you composition, it is a good song. I hope all the luck for you that someone will cross you way and could sign you into a record deal or could take your music further.

that's really sweet of you!! ... I'm really glad my music's been received so well on this site... it's definitely a huge confidence boost and it means a lot to me :-) ...

 

As for trying to approach Celine ... well it's a bit like trying to touch the moon really ... she is better guarded than a high-security prison!! ... but hey you never know ... maybe I'll get lucky :-) ... I'll keep you guys posted!!

even " my homeland" is a brilliant song " my man" would fit to Celines voice as well. Did you ever think about to give this song to her ? This song is so emotional .

Please get us updated about any new song from you, you see you have a lot of fans . We all wait for an album from you. At least I do ! I would buy it straight away.

I can't believe people actually want to download this version! ... I didn't think this would happen!! It's not available right now. but I may put it on iTunes ... and who knows? It may just catch the attention of one of those high and mighty execs in the music business who may have a way to get it to Celine ...

I like your performance. But, it sounds too overedited.. almost every major tone change was "manipulated" electronically, therefore sometimes it sounds quite artificial. but I love your voice :-)
