My review of Patricia Kaas concert in Beijing

I attended Patricia Kaas concert on 15-May-2005, in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, China. I sit in the first row last night, very near to the stage, can see everything very clearly.

 

the concert started about 15 minutes later than schedule. many people started clapping to urgent Patricia out. then she came out and went straight to sing a song. then she said good night in French, English and Chinese to the audience.

there's not much responce to Patricia at first, cause most people don't understand French, and don't know her songs. then Kaas asked everyone raise arms and wave with her.

and then Kaas invited a Chinese girl come to stage. but a Chinese boy suddenly came out want to kiss Patricia, but security pushed him back. Patricia kissed the girl after the song. 　

 

Liu Huan, a famous Chinese male singer who studied French in college, came to stage sang "La Vie En Rose" with Patricia. they got much applaud. and Liu Huan sang a French song himself.

When Patricia came back to stage, she even knelt down and gave a flower to Liu Huan.

and then Patricia went wild and dance all over the stage, and urge everyone stand up to dance with her. she rocked the Great Hall of the People. her guitarist played Chinese Kong-fu on stage.

then she came off stage and high five with the audience. I sit in the first row last night. and I high fived with her too. the Great Hall of the People had never been so hot before. everyone was dancing with Patricia for more than half an hour till the end of the concert. the atmosphere of the concert is great last night. and she sang songs great too. although I'm kinda disappointed cause she didn't sing "Je Voudrais La Connaitre", one of my favorite song of hers.

no, most are her old French hits, only 1-2 songs from Sexe Fort album. most people even never heard of her old songs here.

I'm not sure she sang Quand J'ai Peur de tout or not. it's not a song I like very much. and my French is bad, so I can't remember French song name unless I like it very much.

i went to her concert in shanghai on may 13th. i was in the 1st row,very close to her, the show just like beijing. particia was so amazing! many many french ppl who lives in shanghai went to that concert, the french girls were so carzy!i am a fan of her and sang with her. she saw me and smiled to me! wow! she's so great! in the end, it was like a big party, a french fan raised a french flag and particia took it and ran around the stage!

but they are to grat divas and it's perhaps difficult for them to meet each other.
