Celine, who has been battling a respiratory virus for the past week, performed the second of two consecutive shows in Winnipeg last night, but left the stage weak and breathless. Her doctor stated that despite antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, bronchodilators and mucolytic agents prescribed for her condition, she has continued to worsen and he insists that she refrain from singing for the next five days, in order for her to recover completely. Celine's next show on her Taking Chances World Tour, next Tuesday, November 4th at the United Center in Chicago, will go ahead as scheduled. Celine Dion's Minneapolis concert will be rescheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Target Center. All tickets purchased for the October 30th concert will be honored on the new date. For fans that are unable to attend the rescheduled date of February 5, a refund will be available at original point of purchase. La temporada de frio empieza ya y las infecciones respiratorias se incrementan, y desafortunadamente, es el punto debil de Celine En el otro topic decian que esperemos la altura no afecte su voz cuando venga, eso no es posible, la altura afecta las presiones de los pulmones, si bien eso pasa a alturas mas grandes.. lo que a mi me tiene preocupada es la tremenda contaminacion del DF... Si Celine esta presentando desde estos momentos infecciones en vias respiratorias, no quiero pensar lo que puede pasar cuando respire un aire tan contaminado Otra cosa... Celine has been battling a recurrent naso-pharyngeal infection for the past week, diagnosed by her physician, a leading ear-nose-throat specialist in Montreal, who has instructed her to refrain from singing for the next 5 days in order to completely recover. Celine's concert in Chicago has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, December 16th. Tickets purchased for the originally scheduled concert on Tuesday, November 4th will be honored for the rescheduled show date. Fans who are unable to attend the rescheduled concert date can obtain a refund at their original point of purchase. Celine's next show on her Taking Chances World Tour on Friday, November 7th at the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa is scheduled to go ahead as planned. After reviewing artist and venue availability with tour logistics, the promoter was unable to reschedule the concert. Fans may obtain ticket refunds from their original point of purchase.
