Help The Celine Dion Foundation by Searching in the US

Hi everyone! If you're not using the Celine Dion Foundation Toolbar to do your searches and support the Celine Dion Foundation, I have another option for you!

 

Microsoft is offering Search & Give, delivering Live Search results while giving to the charity of your choice each time you search. When you sign up, simply select the charity of your choice and each search will donate $0.01 to that charity. The Celine Dion Foundation is an option, however there are many more to choose from as you see fit.

 

Since I work for Live Search with Microsoft (I swear I'm not selling!), I use it all the time... so it's an easy switch for me. However, for those of you who may be Google users, I promise you that Live Search relevancy results have dramatically improved, so I recommend giving it a shot to help out the charity of your choice. Just make it your homepage or quick search option.

 

The great thing, also, is that we can go into our accounts and see how much we have made for the foundation to date. So, start searching!

 

I advise to simply use this as your normal search bar... don't go on a searching frenzy. Your donations are counted, at a maximum of 500 searches per month. So, just use it like normal and it will start adding up!

You can't add new charities, but you can choose from a large list of existing ones. The Celine Dion Foundation is an option.

That's pretty cool Jennifer. I just switched my default search provider to Search and Give. I see I'm the fourth person doing it

...and that's a little rude. Maybe some people on here don't want a shirt or don't want to spend the money. Or maybe they want to do that AND search. It's not difficult. I'm simply offering an easy way for people to help this charity and for you to tell them not to is extremely rude. Celine would be proud.

Great! We'll need to keep in mind that the search results provided on SearchAndGive.com are *slightly* different from the normal Live.com results (and, I agree, not as good as the normal Live.com results)... however it's for a good cause.

 

Also, buying a shirt from them most definitely generates more money for the foundation than searching on SearchAndGive.com... however with many of us together we can raise a decent amount of money without spending a dime.

What a shame! I thought I earned 10cent for CDF as it reports . Is there anyway to use a fake US IP to search and generate money?

I was just telling a way to help her foundation faster. I didn't say not to do this. And as you can see the search way is for the US people only anyway. MSN had done something similar in China before. Even with over 10 million MSN Chinese users joined. They didn't donate much. Yes, it's for a good cause, and any amount would help.
