Love, Posted October 28, 2008 at 02:25 PM Posted October 28, 2008 at 02:25 PM Any of you use Craigslist? www.craigslist.com It can be quite an interesting place, actually. What's so funny is the free section. It's actually quite entertaining looking through some of things that people are willing to give away. And then I would sit there looking at those things, chuckling, telling myself, "that's exactly why it's free!!!" :sofunny: A lot of times, the free things would be: "FREE DIRT!" P.S. In all honesty, when I was a big fan of lawn and gardens, every time I was out doing a landscaping project, dirt was on the need list! Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted October 28, 2008 at 03:28 PM Posted October 28, 2008 at 03:28 PM My friends and I like to go on the naughty section and play a game we call"CHICK OR TRANNY."Naturally, you show someone a picture, and you have them guess which one it is! It's absolutely hilarial! Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
KimboCosmo Posted October 28, 2008 at 05:41 PM Posted October 28, 2008 at 05:41 PM LOL...I go on there and laugh at the personals, and the things people post what they are looking for in someone. Some of them get VERY interesting... stevethefan Posted October 29, 2008 at 05:59 PM Posted October 29, 2008 at 05:59 PM This guy I work with said he saw a guy selling one of those Herman Miller Aeron (I think that's the name) office chairs. It's one of those popular but expensive office chairs you see everywhere. New they cost about $1200 bucks! This guy thought it was a misprint when he saw the ad in Craiglist for $60, he though the guy meeant $600. He e-mailed the guy right away and sure enought it WAS NOT a misprint. He got the chair for $60! He told me he kept it awhile an then sold it for $400. You have to remember there are a lot of people who move or are rich and just want to get rid of stuff fast, so that's why you can sometimes get great deals. Quote
