LuisMa Posted October 27, 2008 at 03:46 PM Posted October 27, 2008 at 03:46 PM Hi Paris is an amazing city. You'll love it. It's pretty cold in December, but I guess you've been to very cold places before, as you live in the US. You'll be super excited. There are so many things to do there, and the monuments, theaters and other attractions are amazing. Have a wonderful trip! Quote

CelineRules! Posted October 27, 2008 at 04:11 PM Posted October 27, 2008 at 04:11 PM It's not that cold. Maybe if you're from Costa Rica But we haven't had real winters in years, so it's chilly but not really freezing.. Now I want to bet that we'll have the harshest winter ever over here Quote

Alex_Incognito Posted October 29, 2008 at 01:04 PM Posted October 29, 2008 at 01:04 PM Yes, it is much better to go on the off season! December will be the perfect time of year. You can still see all the sites and you won't have to worry about finding a hotel with air conditioning! I'm from the Chicago area, so it's NOT too cold at all for me! tonybower Posted October 29, 2008 at 06:01 PM Posted October 29, 2008 at 06:01 PM Paris is fantastic whatever time of year! I spent a year there so got to see it in all seasons and if I remember correctly, it got rather cold in November / December. But it was much colder in February so you won't see the worse of it. Then again, the weather is pretty messed up at the moment so you might find it's pleasantly warm... (!) In any case, it's the start of the Christmas season and it will be amazing. There may be Christmas markets near Notre Dame and Madeleine, and there will be festive lights everywhere. If it's not too early, there will be window displays at Printemps and Galleries Lafayettes department stores and, four year ago, these were very impressive! I love Paris in winter! I do prefer Paris in autumn though, especially near the start. The skies are usually clear and the air fresh, with amazing colours all over the city! An amazing place to walk... You will love it, and the weather will not put you off, come rain, wind or shine. And if it is cold, there is nothing better than walking into a Parisian café for a hot chocolate Quote iPod Most Played List The Power Of Love (several versions) - Céline DionThe First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Roberta FlackSi dieu existe - Céline Dion & Claude DuBoisFrankenstein - Antony & the JohnsonsIn Some Small Way - Céline DionBird Gerhl - Antony & the JohnsonsLe blues du businessman - Céline Dion Ne rien savoir de Lol était la connaître déjà.
