Black Kitten Posted October 21, 2008 at 12:45 AM Posted October 21, 2008 at 12:45 AM i still can remember that Madonna thing. she was signing her fans' stuffs and the reporter asked her about what can she say about Madonna who just turned 50, but still looks like 20., and he asked Celine if she has a secret (beauty secret that is), and Celine responded in a nice and funny way. she just said "is this an interview? i have a day off too" and "i wish i have a secret". i don't see what's the matter with this.

Saying how you feel about things is not having a bad day neither to me. The way things work in showbusiness, the red carpet is a place to show off borrowed designers clothes and all they do is telling people who you are wearing to market a designer and everything. Céline has said that she didn't want to do red carpets anymore(her choice) because she has become tired of that. She said she doesn't mind being asked "sometimes" who she is wearing but when it's only about that, she thinks it's not that important thing to talk about all the times. Agree or not(I do agree) she has the right to choose whatever she wants to do or not to do. That night she didn't went on the red carpet because she didn't want to be asked that question. I think it's an understood thing amongs showbizz people. Now she's in the press room and all that guy can ask is that same unimportant question, which was ask again and again to everyone on the red carpet. Now it's not to be mean to say is there something you missed here or something and say "I didn't went on the red carpet......next question please". Some people say she repeats herself sometimes answering questions. I guess that time she didn't want to repeat again and again and I respect her for standing for herself on the choice she had made for herself that night. As for the time she didn't want to answer the guy from TMZ, he's a paparazzi who cares really. Céline was on vacation and still(as always) took time to sign autograph of her fans. She only said she didn't want to do an interview and that she was on a break. I see nothing wrong with that also. I respect others opinion but I find in those two instances, there is nothing there AT ALL. As for having two faces, she has not. I repeat, to me speaking your mind or standing for what you believe or chose is a sign of maturity. Céline has always been the kind of person to say yes always to everything and everyone and now if she can say no "sometimes" makes my happy and is more a sign of maturity and that's she able to take better care of herself. I say good for you Céline!!! I don't think saying how we perceive an artist, when it's mostly positive can be worse than always trying to find something wrong. Please don't get me wrong, this is a general comment and personal opinion, not a specific message to anyone. That was my two cents.
