Demos, unreleased songs etc

i'm not following Madonna as much as i do with celine, but i noticed that Madonna has lots lots lots of unreleased stuff out there...

unfinished demo recording, whole different version of songs, tourdemo's etc...

how come we never get something like that from Celine!? the only 2 really unfinished songs i remember are: Would I Know and Is Nothing Sacred...

 

noticed that madonna uses some old demos lyrcis for new songs or remix the demos with the new versions for her shows etc.

but how come she has so many version of some songs, or does celine has it to, but we never ever gonna noticed it!?

I guess Sony somehow manages to keep a really tight lid on all the demos and unreleased material.

 

Madonna always likes to change up stuff for her tours and such, which is why you got things on her Confessions Tour like Lucky Star being mashed up with music from Hung Up, Music being mashed up with Disco Inferno, and a dance version of Erotica using lyrics from the unreleased demo. Celine typically performs her songs the way they were done on the albums with very little, if any, change. Not really a bad thing, but I've often wished she'd do a tour where she rearranges her hits in new ways. For example, an acoustic guitar mellow vocal version OR strings-only with classic power vocal version of MHWGO would be a great way to refresh this hit that we've basically heard in the exact same arrangement for the last ten years. But I'm going off track...

 

Frankly, I don't know why some stuff leaks and some doesn't.
