peo Posted October 3, 2008 at 04:30 PM Posted October 3, 2008 at 04:30 PM Hi everyone! Well, I'm a future teacher and I'm assigned to do a technique for my English and I chose the "Collage", the problem is I really don't know what to do with students in an English Class with a collage ( with a topic). I would appreciate people's ideas, Thank You! stuartguthrie Posted October 4, 2008 at 03:12 PM Posted October 4, 2008 at 03:12 PM I'm a little confused, do you have to make a collage that is related to the subject of english? If yes, could you make a collage of famous authors like Charles Dickens, William Shakespear, etc? Otherwise could you make a collage of classic books like Moby Dick, Great Expectations, To Kill A Mockingbird, etc? Stu Quote Have a MySpace??? peo Posted October 5, 2008 at 11:55 PM Author Posted October 5, 2008 at 11:55 PM The collage is for fourth graders. I was thinking about for them to make a collage cutting out pictures from magazines but with the topic about "Nouns" do guys think it's a good idea? Cheerfuljane Posted October 6, 2008 at 01:41 AM Posted October 6, 2008 at 01:41 AM I think it IS a good idea, but perhaps not challenging enough for 4th graders Perhaps they could be divided into groups where one group could do nouns, another could do verbs and another could do Proper nouns. Then they could be put together and the whole class would have to make sentences from them ??
