Yeah, but they're not going to perform a CT in a postal office. Would they? Indeed metal shows up in scans like that, but can they detect if there is something in the metal?

If you are talking about if they can detect if there is something in the metal in post office. I think it really doesn't matter how good their scan is. If they can't detect and suspect it, they could just open it.

I don't know much about Western Union. And I'm also not sure I can use that here in the postal office and if I can use something of the sort will it cost me extra?

Like Krys said, why don't you use Western Union? It's easy, fast and safe (sorta). And they charge very little for the service. You just need to have a photo id proof to collect your money

Simply because our postal office doesn't use Western Union. I simply wanna know what my options are

btw if you want to transfer money within the european union you can do it cost free by banktransfer to any other country that has the Euro!
