Girls, the DVD and cover look amazing and I know she will LOVE it! I am so excited, I feel like you do right before you give someone you love a gift you know they will cherish! Loved the note you put in there, too, couldn't have said it better myself! Yay! You guys rock! Don't stress out too much haha, it will all work itself out soon don't give yourselves gray hair!!

Yees we can wait! The time is almost here so even a few days more don't matter! You've already put so much effort to this, the card and the dvd look amazing! I almost have tears in my eyes only reading the note you wrote and imagining the video, and imagining how Céline will feel like when she sees it herself! The most important is of course that she will see it, even if we couldn't right now.

Hey, everyone! I have good news and bad news. The good news is, the video is already on it’s journey to Céline! The bad news is, it is still not online for everyone else. Please accept my apologies.

 

Chelsey has been at it all night, and now her computer is broken! I will be at it all night/morning. YouTube has disabled the audio during one part, so I’m trying to get that figured out. I don’t want to put only half of the video online, it should be watched in it’s entirety. Please do know I (as well as Chelsey) are doing everything it our power to get it to you.

 

It is possible the full version will be up, we’ll see.

 

To hold you over for now, here are pictures of the card I made, cover, and disc that is being sent to Céline & René. I took photos so you could see as well. The cover design will make more sense once you see the layout of the video.

Dearest Céline,

 

You, as well as many of those around you have always shown me the utmost kindness and will always have a special place in my heart. Over the years, I have created many videos to show my gratitude for the dreams that all of you have made come true for me as a fan. I wanted to do this again, only bigger. I wanted to include the world this time! More so, I wanted to not only thank you, but every member of your team who helped made the tour a reality. I, for one, thought they deserved a big thank you as well… and I wasn’t alone. When I began this project several months ago, the response I received was much more than I anticipated. Fans from every corner of the world were more than eager to say thank you to you, René, the band, the dancers, the crew, to the entire team. I received more photos full of memories from this tour than I could have ever possibly fit into one video. I tried to choose the photos that would best convey the joy that you and your team have brought to us all. I am proud to present this video to you and to every member of your team! In this video you will see many faces from all over the world, each face having been inspired by you. Each face who had a dream that you made come true. Each face saying thank you for all that you and your team have done for them!

omg I joined this site a year and lost my password til the other day. Have been spending a lot of time on TeamCeline. I cant believe I missed being a part of this project!! As I have seen from previous posts though Dublin is represented so I am happy!! Congrats on what must have been a very tough job! I join you all in looking forward to seeing this amazing video!!

Creating videos has always been a form of expression for me, it has been all of my life. Over the years, since the very first time I saw Céline in Las Vegas, I have created videos for her and those around her. To thank them, for going above and beyond in making my dreams come true as a fan. I know I am not the only fan who’s life they have touched, and I’ve always wanted to include all of you in a video tribute to them.

 

At long last, I present to you the Taking Chances World Tour Video!!!!!

 

It’s hard to believe I began this project in September! As I said above, I’ve been wanting to create a project like this for a long time, to thank not only Céline - but the entire team. They are always so kind and generous to the fans, and I think it was long overdue that we show them our appreciation as well. We must never forget that without each and every member of the team, there would not be a tour. I’m so happy so many of you felt the same way, and wanted to show your gratitude to our dear Céline and her amazing team!

 

I did have a lot of obstacles to overcome, and it was while I was overcoming them that I appreciated your encouragement and patience more than you know. My computer decided it was a good time to stop working, which followed with it being sent off to be repaired pointlessly for two months until they inevitably had to give me a replacement computer (better than the one I had before, ha!). Which set me back not only in this project but in other projects I was working on, causing me an incredible amount of anxiety. I had to relearn how to speak French, learn some Spanish, and a little bit of everything else. I also had to brush up on my Photoshop skills, I hope I did Erika’s layout justice! Then of course I have the worst internet connection, and was determined to download everything that you sent to me to be included, even the videos which sometimes took days. And then there are life’s interruptions, of course. But it was entirely worth it. I want you to know that I could not have done it without each and every one of you. Thank you to everyone for offering your help and support, I appreciate it so very much. I hope that I’ve made you proud, and that this is a video you can be proud to have your name included in.

 

Thank you to Erika! You created the most beautiful layout! You are so talented, thank you for being a part of this and for dedicating what time you could to this project.

 

Thank you to Antonio! The intro would not be what it is without your amazing idea! Thank you for your prompt responses and eagerness to help with the music as well as any other aspects that you could!

Thank you to Sandy! I wish so much I could have included your graphic works of art, thank you for everything. Especially the tedious task of finding photos from each show and sending them to me so quickly!

 

Thanks to Chelsey! You supported this project from the beginning. Thank you for completing the monotonous task of checking to make sure we spelled everyone’s name right. Thank you for recruiting so many fans to be involved. And last but not least, thank you for uploading this for us!

Thank you to Thomas for allowing me to use the HQ photos from the tour. Thanks to Vic & Bellamy for this forum, without which most of us would not know one another! Thank you to Darren for all of his help and constant support. Thank you to Sarah for sending me clips from videos, so I had a hope of downloading them. Thanks to Jenni & Anu for translating “thank you” into several languages for the ending. Finally, thank you to everyone who created graphics, etc. that I was unable to fit into this video. There just wasn’t enough room, but I do appreciate everything you put together in case I needed it.

 

I hope all of you love it! I tried to fit in as much as you sent, but in most cases it did not all fit. Some of your quotes I had to shorten, in order for them have time to be read. If there are any errors, please accept my apologizes. Every step was taken to try to insure that everything was correct. I want to thank all of you who sent so many pictures (Tracy, Jimena, Tam, and Elisa to name a few), it was beyond tough to choose. Thank you to those of you who sent me a disc by mail, it was a great help! The credits had to be kept short, as I had already surpassed the 30 minute mark… I wish I could have thanked so many more of you. Especially those of you who supported this project from day one, sending out emails to gain interest, and posting the link to your signatures. Thank you!

 

Now that this video is finally completed, I need one more favor from each and every one of you. Continue to support this video, make it known to the world how much we love our Céline, her team, and what a wonderful time we had with them on tour. If you are in contact with any member of the team, please do pass it along to them. We want as many of them to know how much we appreciate them as possible! I only have one request: please do not post this video repeatedly onto Barnev’s Facebook page. I, or a member of the team will be sure it gets posted. This goes for any other member of her team, check to see if it has already been posted, and if it has, there’s no need to post it again -- but by all means comment on it once it has been!

This video is gorgeous, I am so grateful to be in it (thank you Ashley for doing that for me!). I will cherish this forever...it just captures the all the feelings...the excitement, the amazement, the frienship, being part of something huge, the love, the interaction between people of all ages and nationalities....ah well you all know what I am talking about.
