My first thought was floor seats, but then I've read several reviews on here praising the catwalk seats. For those who have seen the show, which do you think is better, and why? Does Celine really spend that much time on the catwalks?

Also, if you are "vertically challenged", would you be able to see from floor seats? Or would it be hard to see over the people in front of you, since you're looking up at the stage? We're considering taking our 8 year old daughter, and would hate for her not to be able to see.

I've been to two shows so far. The first show I was on the floor, actually near one of the catwalks and the other show I was in the stands very close to the end of the catwalk. The floor seats can be good but the problem is that you are always looking up to the stage and you can't really see the nice lighted floor of the stage (except for the many monitors everywhere). Now the seat I had in the stands was really great. I was only a few rows from the end of the catwalk so when she came out to the end of it I was really close.

She comes out on the catwalks on many, but not all songs. To me the stand seat was better than the floor but I was also in the lower stands which was good anyways.

I think, especially since you are taking your daughter, you may be better with the non-floor, stands seats, even if they aren't the lower ones. You get a better overall view of the show IMHO. ^_^

I saw the show in Paris in the 3rd row from the floor and the third row right in front of the catwalk... the CATWALK was WAY BETTER!!! Like a 1,000 times better!!! I'd go for the catwalk!!!

I was in the front row, on the floor, off to the side -- and you do have to look up & at times you are unable to see Céline. At the beginning of My Heart Will Go On, when the candles and Celine rose up, the candles was all I could see until Céline came back down to the stage level. Having said that, she is constantly moving --- constantly. She gives equal attention to all sides, and she does work her way up and down the catwalks several times. Those seats look really good, because they are up higher, so not only do you get to be closer when she's at the end of them, I imagine you can see the whole stage a bit better. It was still worth it for me to be that close... and to be on the side she exited. But if you're taking your daughter, I wouldn't suggest floors seats, unless you put her on your shoulders (which people behind you would probably complain about) - 'cause it was hard for me to see and I'm about 5'3 - 5'4. The stage is tall. If you sit at the end of the catwalks, you'll still be close to Céline a lot, and your daughter should be able to see really well.

Hope I helped... :)

Thanks for bringing this up because I was thinking about the same thing. I went to the show at the palace in detroit. I had floor seats, not the center ones but off to the side on the corner where the guitarists were, 5 rows back, 3rd seat closest to the stadium seats and straight view of the one catwalk. In my row towards the middle there was someone with a little girl couldn't have been more than 5. While I wasn't really watching the little girl much I did notice she was on her mom's lap and I don't think she could see well and probably couldn't see over heads for the tv on the side of the stage. And at row 5 looking at the big screen can hurt your neck a bit I think. Sometimes I had a good view of the side screen but that depended on head movement of other's around me. Ok sorry that was totally long winded but I loved my seats and I'm planning a trip to see a friend in Minni the same week Celine is there. So, now the question comes where do I want to sit? I think I would go with the catwalk because you don't really get to see the top of the stage being on the floor. I just don't want to be too far off to the side of the catwalk but that depends on if they open up tickets in a couple weeks. I'll never understand ticketmaster. But I think another poster said it best that she moves around a lot and I give her credit for that.

I had the same problem as Ashley. For my heart will go on all I ever saw was her back towards the end. The candles, while nice, obstructed my view. If you could get catwalk I think I would do that but I still loved where I was.

Yeah she moves around a lot going from the main stage, on each side, and then ocasionally on the catwalks.

No seat is really perfect. If someone is going to multiple shows then I think it's great to be able to see the show from different areas like the floor and the stands.

What an awesome thread!

I haven't seen the show yet, but I have tickets to 3 shows. The first two I have floor seats, and the last one, I have seats right next to the catwalk...I like hearing everyone's opinion on it. :)

The catwalk for sure. I had front row floor seats for my first show and section 8 row 16 for my second show and those were waaaaaaaay better. I felt like I saw a different show the second night. You just miss so much that is happening on stage when you're on the floor. You can't see any of the giant video screens, the lights on the stage surface, the dancers, I couldn't even see Celine for a lot of the productions because she was moving around so much. Plus if you're near the catwalks you have a higher chance of reaching out to her.

Agree- Catwalk is much better- She comes to the Catwalks which is wonderful (that's where I got to bum rush the stage and shake her oh so soft hand)- Also I think you can see the entire stage- I choose Lower Level everytime unless my floor seats are in the first couple of rows-

Man, I need to get to another show!!

Front row, floor is still amazing - because even though you may not have the best view for the whole show - you get to be close to Céline!

BIG thanks to everyone for their imput! We'll probably try to get catwalk seats. They're the same price as the floor seats here in San Diego (that's a whole other rant....$254!!! BEFORE all the ticketmaster fees!!! I paid $300 for 2 TC floor seats in Anaheim! :angry2: )

Hubby and I have 8th row floor in Anaheim, so this will be good to see the show from another view.

Now that that's solved, on to the next question....how to see Celine before the concert! From what I've read from those that have seen her driving into the venue, it's been around 5:30? Is that right? And does she fly into the major city airport, or a smaller field?

Also it varies from arena to arena. In Newark catwalk ended right in front of a row of seats. In MSG the catwalk ended and there was a space in between the catwalk and the row of seats.

She'll be in the catwalk around 2-4 times during the show. But OMG!!!! that's a great view and like everyone else has said it's better than front row because there are no blind spots from the catwalks :)

An angel was looking through,

It was you,

Yeah you...it's

I've always sat on the floor, front row a couple times and I wouldn't change it for anything, being that close to Celine is absolutely amazing...however, I would LOVE to have a seat near the catwalk, it would be amazing too I'm sure!

I'm a twin mommy just like Celine!

Sophia and Anthony arrived on December 28, 2010

Personally I think where I sat in Manchester was good, as I didn't want to pay the price for the floor seating.

I got an amazing view of the whole stage, and although she was a bit further away from me than the floor seating, there was never a time when I couldn't see her! I think if you have catwalk or front row floor seats, you can only really see her well when she is near you, but from my view I saw EVERYTHING!

I don't care if I see her the whole time, all I care about it actually being within arms reach of her when she is close to me.

Yeah that's better I suppose, actually being right infront of her!

I just booked a seat for Winnipeg right beside the catwalk (2nd row). I hope it's high enough to see the whole stage and close enough to push people out of the way to try to high five Celine, LOL. Oh, I'm so darn excited 'cause this will be my best seat yet!! The floor seats I had in Paris weren't that shabby either. We were in the 20th row, but the seats were elevated so that these rows were level with the stage. It was nice to be on the floor 'cause you can move around and go up to people for pics. I got a pic of me and Patrick Angelil. A nice memory and a sweet keepsake. Now I just have to catch that elusive Celine, :sofunny:

Catwalk defnitely!!she came out on the catwalk by my bff and I's seats several times over the night, which we got lucky very lucky and they upgraded us from the nosebleed section we were five rows from the front of the stage,we were on the side part here's pic the red part is where we were and the catwalk came right into our section,we were a row back from it.I think the cat walk is better bc not only are you not having to cran your neck to look up at the stage you cant see Celine when she goes to the othe side, from our seats we could see her no matter where she went at!
