Hi, I'm a brand new member.

 

I just got back from Las Vegas yesterday and was lucky enough to go to two Celine shows, one on Saturday, May 7th and the other on Sunday May 8th.

 

On Saturday I had a really good, close seat, I was in the fifth row. On Sunday's show I was further back, in the rear orchestra section but it was still a great seat. It's actually a little bit better to be farther away since you can see more of the overall things going on up on stage with everything.

 

The Sunday night show was a benefit show for Tsunami relief. Basically it was the same show, but at the beginning the president of Caesar's palace came out along with people from UNICEF. They showed a fifteen minute film about what has been going on since the Tsunami hit. After the film they introduced the host for the night, CNN's Larry King. After that the show began and when it ended a check for over $1,000,000 was presented to UNICEF. The proceeds from both the concert and her gift store were used, at least for part of this check.

 

I had never been to any of her concerts so this was a great introduction. The show is ninety minutes long, which seems to be the standart time for all Las Vegas shows. It was great, especially the combination of her singing and the Cirque du Soleil influenced theatrics. I only wish the show was longer! I guess becaus e of the highly technical nature of the show there is realy no room for extra songs, etc. But it was still great. I will definitely go again. I think she signed on for an extra year so she'll still be performing for at least (a little less than) two more years.

Hi and Welcome!! Wow, two Celine shows in a row....lucky!! I saw her on April 23 of this year. It's been a dream of mine to see her for the last 10 years and I finally got the chance! I was in the rear orchestra right in the the center so they were awesome seats. I wish the show was longer too but I can see how that is long enough as she danced as well as singing through the whole show. She's got to give that beautiful voice some rest too! I plan to go back next year and again in 2007, hopefully with front row seats!!
