Does someone know how to put old songs from an old iPod to a new one without erasing them? Is it posible to connect a new iPod with the old iPod format and transfer the songs?

Aren't the songs also on your ITunes on your computer? If they are you can just send the same songs to your new or other Ipod. :)

The only thing I know is to just use your iTunes :hmm:

I've never had to do that...mine is still pretty new :)

Are you using mac or windows? I can point you to a programme that copies the songs from your iPod to your HDD and then once you plug the new iPod you can copy all the songs back to the new one. :)

If your iTunes doesn't have songs of your old iPod, it won't sync the songs to the new ones. You will need a program copy songs from your old iPod to iTunes first, then sync to the new one.

Ive been wondering about this for years! Always annoyed me that you couldnt transfer songs from your ipod to your computer. So what is this program you're talking about? Do you need to buy it or is it a free download from mac?

Some free ones doesn't work with every iPod model. I know a paid one works with every model.
