I was just wondering if celine wants to have a baby,Don"t u have to have monthy period to get pregent. I thought that I read some where that she is not on a monthy period since she is touring. how is that to be. So how does she get pregant then. any answers.

Odd question. I think you just have to be on your period monthly to create the baby buuuuuut she already has her baby frozen and ready for when the time is right. So I don't think it matters?

What I read is that she doesn't ovulate while touring...you can still have your period without ovulating...but you do need to be ovulating to make a baby!

Celine says she doesn't want to get pregnant while she's still touring anyway, so she plans to try for the baby after the tour is finished.

But that's all a little bit irrelevant, since she plans to use IVF to get pregnant, and she already has embryos at the fertility clinic in New York- so all they need to do now is make sure her endometrial layer is at the right thickness and then implant the embryos, hoping at least one will attach and become a baby!

I read in one of her biographies, maybe "The Authorized Biography", not sure...that she doesn't have regular periods on tour because of all the traveling and physical exertion. I am not sure of all the scientific details...l and I don't really want to know. lol Hopefully she can get pregnant after the tour, and Rene-Charles can have a little brother or sister.

In all seriousness though, I don't find this conversation weird anymore. In the introduction to her autobiography, Celine discusses IVF and sperm banks and stuff...and I'm totally fascinated with babies and pregnancy...so I feel like it's kind of normal that we want to understand.

I think some people never had a conversation about birds and bees.

The first question of this thread is bleeding ignorance, and that's quite scary for someone born in 68.

 

It doesn't mater if she has regular periods or not.

When you are using IVF, you don't have several chances to implant the embryo in your womb. You only need periods if you want to make a baby the old way with an intercourse. If you need an IVF, they'll make sure to give you shots of hormones so you are at the perfect timming in your cycle, to implant the embryo.
