Hey all. I just graduated college in May and now I am at the time in my life where I am trying to find a career. I know for sure what I want to do, which is of course work in the music industry, and I am well on my way there. I was lucky enough to intern at Sony BMG in NY (although some of you would say thats not so lucky because many on here hate Sony). They are one of the biggest labels, and I had the best time doing it. My problem is, that I'm not sure I want to live around here. I grew up in NJ all my life, went to school in NC, but I haven't ever really been happy in ethier place. It's when I go to Canada, that I feel like I really belong up there. You know, it's just that feeling you have..that wow, this is right for me.

I'm looking to find a job up in Canada and was thinking about the Toronto area. I've actually never been to Toronto but it seems like it would be a great place to start a career. So I have a few questions for anyone up in Toronto or Canada: Of course, how do you like living there, should it be somewhere I consider moving to without knowing anyone? I'm 22, so would it be hard for me to meet new people, or is it a younger city? Do you know of any music labels, booking agencies, event planning, or PR agencies in the area? I'm sure theres many, but its hard to find when I know nothing about the area. Lastly, if you ever made the move from the U.S. to Canada, how difficult is it to obtain working papers to be able to work in Canada when you are not a citizen.

Thank you all so much in advance for your help. I'm feeling so lost at this point, because its like I don't really know what I want, or where I want to go. I do know though, that it's time for me to make a big change, and I think moving north is the best direction for me.
