Which side of the stage is the piano on?

for those who have been to the DC/philly/boston shows...which section is the piano facing...the 101 side or the other sides?

I saw the tour in Toronto and Montreal and for those shows it was on the side of the 107 section...I'm hoping it will be like that for Milwaukee too...we'll see!

thanks, but it has to be either the 101 or 105 section cuz it's on one of those corners based on how she moves on the stage?????????

The piano is closest to sections 105 and 106 and 207 and 208 so it's on the opposite side of 101.

 

At the DC show I was in the equivalent section of 208 on your map and when I looked straight ahead the piano was on the right corner of the stage from my view.

 

But even if you are not on that side there are plenty of video screens where you will see it.

She actually enters from below the stage. She gets there from under one of the catwalks.

She must not do that at every show. I was at a Montreal show on the floor and she didn't enter through the audience that night and she didn't in D.C. She just came up through the middle of the stage.

 

I've never seen a video of her entering through the audience, only leaving. I hope someone has one.

I'm sure about entering in Montreal...she deffinitely exited through the audience. Last night she enter and exited through the audience on opposite corner of the piano. I know for sure because I was sitting on the other side of the stage and could see her RIGHT there...and I was like DAMNIIIIT SO CLOSE. haha

I've come to the conclusion that you have to wait and see when you get there - because I keep hearing different things - but the majority say that the piano is on the North side... or Northeast side if you want to get specific.

 

Steve: Which side did she exit when you were there? I keep hearing the Southwest side.

Well at the two shows I was at I thought that what they did was sneak her through under one of the catwalks which go under the stage, and then she comes up through the center of the stage. At one of the shows I was sitting on the floor next to the catwalk. There is an opening under each of the catwalks where the audience can walk through (I did) to go to their floor seats. I'm not sure if she came through on my side but I think they kind of rush her through that at the beginning. I'd like to see her do the entrance through the crowd. That would be great.

Thanks for that map. At the two shows I've been to (so far) that's exactly the same location for where the piano is (Mego's) and where she exits. I think it's the same at every show. So if you look at the venue map of the show you are going to like this one, so far it's seems like it's the same location.

I looked at the Birmingham map. You are in a great section for when she is on stage because she sings a lot on that side, but she will probably exit in section A.

I think -- and I could be wrong, that you are on the North side. I was told that the lower the numbers, the more North it is. If you're in Section H, then you are in front of seat 1L and 1U. So I think you are on the exact opposite side from where I'm sitting. But again, I could be wrong. It's so confusing... In Vegas, there was only one seating chart so you knew exactly where you'd be!

 

I'm also curious about Indianapolis, the stage is not dead center, there is more audience on one side than the other. I wonder if that will make the setup any different.

He got the tickets for me as soon as they went on sale and that's the closest we could get, so I guess they saved the first few rows for radios or giveaways. From what I've gathered by listening to others here on the forum, the round stage is great, but I'm just hoping that we don't have to watch a screen the whole time. Anyway......I'm sure it will be great! I have to drive home though - about two hours - and get up for work the next morning at 5:30....hope I can stay awake!!!

Me too! From what I've heard, she moves around constantly. But I think we're out of luck for "My Love"

I'm in the 7th row too! That was the best I could do as soon as they went on sale too, 7th row on one side, or 7th row on the other. So I picked the side with more audience on it, thinking she may be on that side more. I just hope I can see... I'm short so I hope there's no one tall in front of me! I guess I'll have to break out the heels! Anyways, I hope we can say hello - what seats do you have, we may even be sitting next to eachother! I'll be there with my mom.

I wonder why some of you are so obsessed on sitting on the piano side??

I mean, I sat right in front of the piano twice (or 3 times if you count one show when I was aside but just at the corner of the stage) and of course it has been an amazing experience but non of the other shows I've been to has been less great, even if I've been sitting in front of the drummer girl or at any other side!

Really, Céline's show is Céline's show and it's amazing, no matter where you are seated in the venue!

 

Ah, and as for idroveallnight's map - indeed it has been like this in Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne and Montréal!

I'm not sure about the other shows but in Antwerp and in Vienna it has been an another way - right on the 'back' of the piano, if you know what I mean.

 

As for her entering the show through the audience - it has been this way at all shows I've been to where they used the central stage. She always entered through the audience but it was more like 'sneaking in' as it was in total darkness, right at the beginning of IDAN intro so even if you were at the way she's entering the venue, you could hardly notice a thing if you were not aware of it.

 

Obviously, at the shows with end stage she stays backstage all the time and enters the stage directly from there.

Thanks for all of the info., in all the shows you have attended, has the piano ever been on the South side? Because in Indianapolis the seating chart is different, and I wondered if it would make the stage set up any different.
