Can you meet Celine before/after concert?

I'm trying to read through all of the reviews and all I can seem to find in regards to fans meeting Celine is during the meet & greets. Is it possible to see Celine as she arrives or leaves each of the venues? Like with the American Idol tour this summer, all of the Idols come out and greet fans when they arrive, and then they do it after the shows as well. I know they aren't as "big" as Celine in terms of stardom, so it may be different with her, but has anyone arrived at the venues really early and been able to meet Celine??? Any information or tips you could give me would be great. THANKS!!!

I went to her show on Aug. 31 in Montreal and the next day I waited outside the Bell Centre and saw her drive in and she waved, which was awesome!! She was so close!! And then that night right after her show finished I was there and she drove back out...her car slows down a bit so she gets a chance to wave to people and fans can take pictures, but she doesn't stop to give autographs...anyway that's the closest I've come to meeting her Edited September 7, 2008 at 05:12 AM by dovey15

If you know what hotel she is staying at, your best bet is to go there and wait for her to come out...try before and after the show (as long as she goes back to the hotel after the show and not the airport)...This worked for me in Manchester and I got to speak to Celine

Yeah, it's exactely like dovey15 said. You can't really "meet" her before or after the concert but you have really big chance to see her in her car and if the car doesn't have black windows, you can see Céline very well in it and she usually waves to fans. That's what happened to us when we were waiting for her at the venue in Vienna. A Hungarian friend of mine managed to take a nice pic of her waving in the car, you can see it in Viena concert topic.

 

Very rarely you may be lucky and she may stop the car and sign something through the window of her car when arriving to venue. But it's very rare as she's usually running late and does not have time for things like that.

 

The best way to meet her is, like Julian said, going to the airport if you know which gate she may go out (altough we were not lucky with this one in Vienna, we haven't even seen her in the airport...) or at a hotel when she's staying. This last thing is the best to do. She usually takes a few minutes when she leaves the hotel to go to the venue on the concert day.

That's how I've seen her a few times. And if you are lucky, you may even get an autograph by such occasion.

Thanks for all of the replies. How would someone find out when Celine would be arriving at the airport and/or which hotel she is staying at? I don't know if I would actually have the opportunity to see her at either place, but I am curious how you get that information.

The American Idols have done it EVERY summer, actually. They are MINOR celebrities compared to Celine. I wish it could be so easy to meet someone so accomplished, but it seems like your best bet is luck...which sucks. Lol. I don't think I'll wait just to get a wave..the weather is starting to become more "Michigan" everyday, so I don't think I can do that. I can't believe how open Celine fans are about meeting them @ the airport/hotel...I suggested doing this for American Idol and people attacked me!
