I watched a bit of it last night, shame the Paralympics doesn't get as much coverage as it deserves.

I think they are the real athletes in the whole Olympic spectacle overcoming adversity like that and climbing to great heights as an athlete, they are amazing!

the opening and closing ceremonies were as spectacular as for the "abled bodied games". how do you top those amazing shows? loved the postcards idea.

so sad that it's all over now, both games. i watched both games avidly and i must admit i was more enthralled at the paralympics games. just to see how people can overcome their disabilities. my only concern was when the catagory 1 people were swimming, i thought they were going to sink i was so nervous for them. but they are still so much faster than me . was also very sad for the cerebral palsy paralympians when their bodies suddenly wouldn't do what they were supposed to do .

all in all china gave a spectaular games for all the participants and audience.
