LOL, I HATE when ppl say that! You just don't listen to the music exclusively but you do other productive things as well like reading or something ahahha

nooooo....i just sat here staring at my screen listening to the song.

 

its amazing how people give celine a hard time for over-singing. im sure this prime example of over doing it will get rave reviews because she'll be 3/4 naked in the video. at least when celine belts she doesn't sound like she gargled with razor blades.

Actually to be honest once Céline signed in Vegas and recorded OH which got her best reviews in a long time she has somewhat settled down in the eyes of the critics.

 

Xtina on the other hand is hip and well they are praising everything that's hip so it's just that.

 

And haha I just imagined you starring at your monitor listening to the song like a loonatic. LOL

she's been an easy target for the critics ever since the MHGO. hipness shouldn't be and isn't a determining factor of quality. ive said it a million times and i still believe....if celine got a boob job, pranced around naked, and left Rene for some 20-something year old hollywood boy toy she'd sell twice as many records.

thats not what i meant. i could care less how much she sells. i was just making a social commentary about how a lot of times the actual music is getting to be a smaller and smaller influence on what drives sales.

I think a jazz or rock album would be great. However, if she was going to record a rock album it better be when she's sick with a sore throat. I love how she does her impresonation of a rocker when she has a sore throat. LOL

IMO if that's true, then either a) they're expecting this to flop or B ) could potentially be a flop.

 

I don't really see record labels wanting to put out too much songs for one album. ALSO if it's a two disc, this means bigger the cost...the less likely people will buy it...more likely people will download it.

well out of all 3 of the new songs, Candyman is my favourite but i'm not really "feeling" this.

I am sorry to say this but i don´t like Christina´s new songs i.m not very much into 40,s and 50,s music so i´m dissapointed with this effort of hers.

 

Christina hasn´t maked any great albums either but she has a wonderful voice.

I love only Reflections from Mulan,I Turn To You and Nobody´s suppose to be lonely with Ricky Martin.
