smw Posted September 1, 2008 at 10:27 PM Posted September 1, 2008 at 10:27 PM I've always been curious as to how these two got paired....when did they meet? Any information on when they decided to build a project together? Quote
Costa Santos Posted September 1, 2008 at 11:27 PM Posted September 1, 2008 at 11:27 PM ... By the time of the release of the album À L'Olympia back in 1994, they talked about an alliance between Jean-Jacques Goldman and Celine Dion. They sang together for the very first time in 1994. Davey84 Posted July 27, 2015 at 12:55 PM Posted July 27, 2015 at 12:55 PM I was wondering.... I have been watching the ONCP dvd today and it was great looking at all the videos. And during TLDH I started to wonder... Céline was so relaxed in that video, being just 'one of the guys' and her interaction with JJ is like he is her best friend or brother. You could see both are very close and fond of each other. But of course 1F4T was the last album they really worked together. Back then he already said he could not write a complete new album for her, but IMO he could have written new songs for her since, especially with so much that happened in her life, her dad, her kids, the battle with René, etc etc. He supposed to be 'retired' too, I guess that also makes sense he doesn't write anything for her anymore. BUT I was wondering if maybe JJ was disappointed the way Vegas interfered too much with her French career, and how 1F4T and its singles were never promoted the way they should have been. Maybe IF Céline didn't do 200 shows a year back then and did have the time to do a mini 1F4T tour with just the guys and not her actual band, (or just simple would have done more to support 1F4T in general), that JJ would have still been more interested in Céline? Or am I just ranbling too much? 6 Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

Or am I just ranbling too much? I can see your point. What a great duo though. I think they still have much love and respect for other. Didn't she say she would love to work with again recently? 1 Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

Or am I just ranbling too much? You do make a good point... Maybe he woulda been interested, more. I would love to see him and her work together again... It would be something amazing and they would just make music work. If he writes a song about flying pigs, and Celine sings it, somehow it just works! They have a connection, probly like Celine+Eddy Marnay. I would just LOVE to see her and JJG work together again... I have for quite some time! Even Luc Plamandon came back for SA! 4 Quote I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!Le temps qui compte pour Celine est maintenant!
