groomsb Posted May 9, 2005 at 01:32 AM Posted May 9, 2005 at 01:32 AM Celine's performance April 15, 2005 was absolutely fantabulous! The energy level was non stop from all the performers but I couldn't keep my eyes off Celine for very long; she gave her heart & soul throught the entire evening. I have never seen anyone with such zest and joy with life as Celine. Her interaction with us as an audiance made it feel as though she was talking to each one as an individual. Her personality and humor is incredible. Throughout the entire show, I found myself so excited that at times I forgot to even breathe. The visual effects for each song was magnificent; the curved walls of the collisium gave the feeling of being 3-Dementional.I liked the way Celine introduced all of the performers and folks who helped make the show so explosive. She still had energy to run from one end of the stage to the other and throw kisses to her back ups while thanking them. She is very gracious to the audiance as well with her thank yous. There is no doubt Celine has fun performing and being able to go see her is surely a gift I shall treasure. (It took me a long time to save the money to go see Celine but I would do it again in a heartbeat).I believe Celine's joy, zest and energy are contagious because when I came home I started walking for 30 minutes a day (what a miracle, I hate exercise).Have lots of fun!Barbie Quote

LVisforCelineLovers Posted May 9, 2005 at 05:56 AM Posted May 9, 2005 at 05:56 AM (edited) I always forget to breathe too! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The first time I spotted her on stage in Vegas, walking slowly towards the stage, I didn't forget to breathe, she just took my breath away. I was literally gasping and my mother found this hilarious, but that's the affect she had on me the first time I ever saw her in concert. Same thing happened the very next night when I saw her again. She's literally "breath taking". groomsb Posted May 9, 2005 at 07:11 PM Author Posted May 9, 2005 at 07:11 PM It is hard to pick the most memerable moment when the whole of Celine is memorable but I will give it a try.One of the moments is when Celine asked if she could join the audiance and then proceeded to walk to the end of the middle part of the stage. She then sat down on the edge and started singing. All I could think of is: I wish I could be in the seat right there in front. (I was in the second orchestra section which was still good). I did have a small pair of binoculars which helped but my hand would not stay very steady. When I came home from the trip I joined TeamCeline; I regret not joining sooner.Celine is the first of anyone that I've ever been a fan. This is new to me. Quote
Koolan Posted May 10, 2005 at 03:36 AM Posted May 10, 2005 at 03:36 AM Welcome here So how long have you been a fan? I guess it's not a bad idea to sit in the middle, end of the row Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.
Horselady Posted May 10, 2005 at 06:07 AM Posted May 10, 2005 at 06:07 AM `Wow, there are too many favorite moments to mention....I have to say after My Heart Will Go On ( I was there April 23, 2005). The audience gave her a standing ovation and would not stop clapping, even when she'd try to talk, we'd all clap louder! She closed her eyes and was getting tearful. She kept shaking her head and putting her hand to her heart. `I've been a fan for 10 years and FINALLY got to see her this year! And I live in Nevada! I'm about 8 hours away from Vegas. I want to go back again next year and the year after. Let's all hope and pray that she sings another contract with Caesars and stays another 10 years or so!!!! My mom was with me at the concert and thought it was hilarious that I knew every song by heart, even the French ones!! And I know what you mean about taking your breath away!! Quote
groomsb Posted May 10, 2005 at 11:13 PM Author Posted May 10, 2005 at 11:13 PM I started taking notice of Celine's music several years ago but I really got hooked on her about three years ago. Now I just love her and her music so much! I did have the seat on the end. Quote
