Alphabet Photography

I was at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) which comes for two weeks in August every year and there's always this building where inside people setup stands of stuff that they make and are selling. I came across this one where this girl named Jennifer Blakeley does these amazing photographic art. I stood there staring at each of the framed photographic artwork for the longest time - I thought it was so clever and so beautiful. Her art was called "Alphabet Photograhy", which is the creative process of photographing everyday objects that resemble letters of the alphabet, then putting the photos together to create any name or word. She sold each 4x6 alphabet photograph for $5.00 a piece and I just had to get my hands on it - I adored her work so much. I bought four letters that spelled out the word "love". Each letter had many diferent styles to choose from - this is what I got:

She had several more words that she hung up for display - here are a few more images of her work. The first one also spells out "love", but as you can see with differently-styled photographs (different objects).

We had to do that as an art project in High School. we had to write a whole sentence that was given to us

 

It was hysterical seeing what everyone came up with
