An official survey from Sony would be nice

Recently I received word that Britney Spears' team has just put out a survey to see what her fans want to see from her: In terms of music, tv specials, tours, parfume, clothing line.

 

I think that that was a fantastc idea from her camp.

 

Wouldn't it be great if Celine's team would do something like this? Just to see what fans would like to see from her. I can imagine that Celine would work less hard if she us knew her fans don't expect her to tour every single day of her life. I'm sure many of us would like to see more albums, movies, and tv appearances.

 

Hopefully one day her camp will get back on the ball again. This is just an example of what other musical artists do. We can dream, can't we?

I'd like surveys just for a next single or video. Other than that, no. I like to be surprised by her, and always am, and I want her own ideas to be put in practice for my pleasure, not my ideas.

Britney needs to do that, she needs to know for sure people will buy whatever she's doing next, otherwise she'll be completly dead in the music world...

That sounds like a pretty good idea for her team to do. It seems like we're out of touch with her team. I wouldn't have expected Celine to go on a huge tour *right* after doing 5 years in Vegas. I, too, would want more albums and appearences. These kinds of tours are gonna wear her out.

I agree, I really would have preferred her realeasing another album with new stuff, and more videoclips, and TV appearences.

But hey, I don't get to see her live on tour, so I really don't care for her wearing her out in a WorldTour I don't get to see anyway

Survey sounds effective. Celine can sell well to the market without this stuff. In the case of the so called pop princess, she indeed and seriously need that. Because of the nerve wrecking she do and revealed on her past career. People we're like "OMG!" LOl! You know to get back on the scene again, they need to know which is better for her this time. the question is, since when did sony listen to the whims of celine's fans? i'm almost 100% sure it won't happen anytime soon. and sometimes, this kind of strategy doesn't work.

 

for example, Janet Jackson's team did the same thing before they made 20 Y.O. Virgin and Janet's team had this contest/survey regarding on how Janet's next album would sound and even the cd cover. to celebrate the 20th year anniversary of her breakthrough album "Control", fans wanted Janet to revive the groove of Control, and had a contest for fans to submit their desired album cover, and they even asked the fans for their desired album title. but the result was a critical and commercial disappointment and the album became her least successful album since 1984's Dreem Street.

 

normally, what fans like is what critics hate. celine is the mastermind of her career now. i know she KNOWS what her fans love (not, unless she'll still say she have nothing left to prove lol). her team s**ks we all know that. they will make a survey and they will eventually scrap it and will make their own moves. so what's the sense? i always believe celine loves to surprise fans, so who knows.

Great idea!!! I'd personally love to see more singles with remixes on them.
