Falling-into-you Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Hey!Thanks for letting me become a member! My name is Trista and I'm 15 (almost 16) years old. I've been a big fan of Celine Dion for pretty much my whole life. Well anyway, here's my cheesy, emotional story of how I got into Celine and why I love her so much! When I was 2 my parents got a divorce, and for awhile it was my mom and I. My dad didn't abandon me or anything, but with the custody battle thing I was with my mom more. When Celine's "Falling Into You" album came out, my mom bought it right away. EVERY TIME we were in the car she would always play that CD. When I was playing in the living room I asked my mom to play that CD for me because I just loved it soooo much. When I was 8 my mom got remarried, and her wedding songs were "Because You Loved Me" and "My Heart Will Go On". Ever since I was 2 I loved Celine. On Christmas in 2005, my mom surprised me and my grandma to tickets to A New Day... in Las Vegas. I wanted to go so bad I was previously saving up every dime I had to buy a ticket. The next month we flew to Vegas and saw the show. It was AMAZING! That moment was a special moment for my grandma, my mom, and I because we all loved Celine so much that being together watching our favorite idol perform was an incredible and special time for us. We all ended up crying afterwards lol. This year my grandma got me and her tickets for my birthday to see Celine's concert in Denver, Colorado. I love Celine's music, but I also love Celine because she's such a good role model and she is such a good person. When I listen to Celine it makes me think of the good times I had when I was a little girl when it was just my mom and I, and cheers me up when I'm down. So I guess you could say that Celine has been a part of my life since I was 3 or 4. Just listening to her cheers me up and makes me think of the good times w/ my mom and I when it was just us 2, especially when my mom and dad have problems w/ eachother. Her music helps me keep my mind off of the bad situation in the present and helps me remember the good things from the past! Trista K. Quote
