KimboCosmo Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 (edited) Nicholas Sparks... One absolutely amazing writer who never ceases to amaze with his stories. I cannot wait until this new movie comes out. I absolutely ADORED the movies, "The Notebook" and "Message In A Bottle" as well as "A Walk To Remember". So mark your calendars people, for September 26th! (In the US) With such amazing people as Richard Gere and Diane Lane playing the main roles, I really have high hopes that this movie will not fail me! What about you guys? Anyone else a huge Nicholas Sparks fan? All of the books are amazing too! Movie Trailer http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7n1QNRDOkn0&...feature=related Description of movie: Adrienne Willis, a woman with her life in chaos, retreats to the tiny coastal town of Rodanthe, in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, to tend to a friend's inn for the weekend. Here she hopes to find the tranquility she so desperately needs to rethink the conflicts surrounding her--a wayward husband who has asked to come home, and a teenaged daughter who resents her every decision. Almost as soon as Adrienne gets to Rodanthe, a major storm is forecast and Dr. Paul Flanner arrives. The only guest at the inn, Flanner is not on a weekend escape but rather is there to face his own crisis of conscience. Now, with the storm closing in, the two turn to each other for comfort and, in one magical weekend, set in motion a life-changing romance that will resonate throughout the rest of their lives. http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z93/cindytaylor1/2266990925_a5c8abfa42_m.jpg Edited August 23, 2008 by KimboCosmo Quote http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/2765/48940711.png "You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dreams." Jacqui Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 He is an amazing writer. I've read all his books. A Walk To Remember is my all time favourite book, and The Notebook is my favourite movie. Also Three Weeks With My Brother...that one made me cry sooooooooooooo much, but it was really good.I didn't know they were making Nights in Rodanthe into a film...weren't they gonna make The Rescue into a film a few years back? Did that ever happen? I'm rambling haha sorry. But yeah, I'll definitely see the movie, even though I didn't like the end of the book too much. Quote
