That was hard to see Christina beat Celine ( i cant stand christina's voice, she sounds like a strangled cat to me, sorry if people like her!). Also why is Michael Jackson ahead of Celine, ya he is good, i just figure Celine vocally way better, but i only know the famous Michael Jackson songs.

imho, Michael Jackson is one of the greatest male voices, and probably the most recognizeable male voice. his singing isn't the highlight of his career so it's understandable that some of you dismissed him as a good vocalist.

Hmm I never thought Christina would be at #1 for this. I'll probably agree why Mariah get into #1 as Mariah is able to make those squeeky high pitch voice, soul and normal soaring voice (not as good as Whitney and Celine) but Celine can only sing ballad, pop type of music. Even with the album Miracle, she sings every single song title clearly whilst for Mariah, you can hear different voice type for different songs. That's probably the difference.

Haha, you have been active in making comments on the list, there are only people defending Céline's place as number one! That's cool!

I'm not so sure about the list either.. Céline is obviously number 1 for us (and should be for the rest of the world too ), but also, I instantly thought of Lara Fabian as I started to go over the list.. Why is she not in it at all??

 

Well, whatever, we can always make our own list.
