Do you think Céline will one day...

We've heard Céline say she could never completely leave, because showbusiness is in her blood and it's something she was born with... we've also heard her say that one day she would say it's enough. We've heard David Foster say that she will probably in the near future say, "I'm done." and walk away. We've heard Franco Dragone say he sees her going back on the road. We've heard so many things, do you think Céline will one day walk away from showbusiness forever?

Many people can say a lot of things but only Céline knows what is going on inside her heart and her dreams.

I know David is a good friend but is not inside her mind and it's just his opinion.

Céline told MORE THAN ONCE that she will never stop singing because it's inside of her, it's in her blood and music has always been and will always be something that brings her a lot of happiness. That's what I believe.

 

If ever she changes her mind, it's ok. It's her happiness that counts the most. But right now I know she said she wouldn't never stop and this is all I believe.

David wasn't hinting that she'll retire soon There is no doubt Celine will stay in the show business for a long time. She won't quit while she's ahead anytime soon, as mentioned, singing is in her blood. Celine is here to stay, I'm sure she won't desert the millions of fans out there This woman is a natural born singer

Interesting, most of you think the same as me. That she will never be able to leave singing forever, because it's such a part of who she is.

 

It just makes you wonder... RC is her life now and when she hopefully has another baby after Vegas, that baby will also be her life. I would be heartbroken , but I wouldn't be surprised if she walked away from it all because she wanted to be a mom and nothing else. I know David Foster wasn't hinting anything... and the only person who really knows what Céline will do next, is Céline! I was just curious to know what everyone thought... but we don't have to worry about it too soon, we have her until 2007!

I really don't think that Celine will leave us anytime soon. Yes, she is getting older, but that's what's so wonderful about her! It seems the older she gets, the more I fall in love with her! I know it sounds crazy, but it's true! Celine's style of music may change as she get's older, but the woman inside will always be the same. And although her music may become more meloncholy with age, we will too. Because as Celine gets older, so do we! I just can't imagine Celine disappointing us! I just love her so much, and I know she loves us! And like I said, as Celine grows, I think he music will become a lot slower, and a lot softer, but we'll love that, because we'll grow older too.

Well, I'm not quite sure if Céline won't say one day that she's done with Showbusiness. I mean, she has a family now and this might have changed her priorities. And if she has another baby, this could be one more reason for her to say goodbye. But enough of speculations. We'll just have to wait and see how Céline decides to live her future life. I think that something things inside of us sometimes are just so strong we can't run away from them. Celine had a break for 2 years but just a few months after the break started, she was singing EVERYWHERE. Do you know what I mean. I think it's stronger then her.

With a baby or 2, she will do much less but she will won't stop, it's for sure.

well Celine said, if she had to start her career all over again ...she doesn't think she would...not saying to start it over at 12 yrs old...but to start it over as an adult with her family...she said RC has taught her so much. She also said she has learned what is fun and what is important, and singing is fun, and family is important. I definately think Celine will be taking a lot of time off here and there, but I don't think she would ever leave showbiz for good. Maybe she will take a break like she did for two years, but you know, like someone said, singing is who she is too. And sometimes it's more powerful than a person.

I don't know.. she loves singing too much! But also with two babies.. it's gonna be hard having to work so much and then perform. I'm sure she'll still be around... have a CD out once every five years or so, probably get into writing books or something simple not too time consuming.

Oh yeah, definatley. Céline has said several times that she plans to take a long break after Vegas to try to have a second baby. I just hope she comes back, I'm sure she will though--- I was just curious to know what everyone else thought.

Obviously no one really knows what anyone will do in the future. I was suprised when I heard she had signed on for the three (now four) year deal with Caesar's palace because if you read her authorized biography she mentions how it was getting harder to sing the exact same songs night after night on tour, which I think all performers have problems with. I know one big advantage she has now being in Las Vegas is that it has allowed her to stay in one place and have a sort of normal home life, but now I would think the shows would be harder because there is no leeway for adding on extra encore songs, etc. And she's doing two hundred of these shows a year which is probably more than someone does in a year of touring. She must tire of playing the same songs night after night, although I know they made some slight changes in the show in the last year.

 

I would not think that she did it solely for money, since she is probably already set with her mega album sales and merchandising. I really think she "needs" to sing and wants to do it. I'm sure she'll take some time off after her Caesar's gig is up. Maybe she'll have another child, or not. I'm sure people in other parts of the globe may want to see her in their countries one day so I would think she'd do some kind of touring some day.

 

Celine is relatively still young, and could probably sing (hopefuly!) for a long, long time, but she has been a professional singer for a long time since she started doing it at such a young age. I would not blame her if she ever walked away from it all, but my guess is that she'll just start taking longer breaks, and then maybe tour again someday. I think that she was smart in 1999 to totally stop everything for a few years. Otherwise she's burn out, like all of us.

I don't believe she will ever go away forever. This is not like Celine. She doesn't seem to someone who gives up the things she cares about.

One way or another she will always be here not matter how many breaks she takes

Gosh I hope not. I'm sure she eventually will take a giant step back and maybe just record every now and then but I hope she never completely leaves us. I would be so sad, I hope someday I can share Celine with my kids.

I think that after she is through with "A New Day..." , she will start to tour again, after all she is only 37 years old. She might take a rest after her Las Vegas show is through though. She may quit touring much later down the road, but even then I think she will still make albums and public appearances, because it usually only takes her a month to make an English album and about a week to make a French album. So she won't have to worry about not spending enough time with her family.

I see what you're saying... and I don't know if Céline's views have changed on this topic or not since RC was born. But when René had his heart attack many years ago, he told Céline to never stop even if he wasn't there too. He said he would "die two times" if she gave up on her dream because of him.

As Celine said in an interview, if Rene Charels shoudl need her she would immediately stop that interview and go to him. until now she has combined family life with show bussiness and even though sometimes she is tired, i haven't seen her that happy ever! really!!

she will leave the showbussiness at a point. she can't stay forever. when she will be like...60 you can imagine that doing a show like this in Vegas will be exhausting and too much for her.

but she is young now, she loves music. she has it in her blood, like you mentioned. she will always sing. and come oonn...she may leave us but her music will stay!
