If u had Celine for yourself for one day!

We all love Celine, and are ALL dedicated to her as a musician and as a person!

 

When I see her gruelling schedule of being interviewed by various worldwide tv channels, autograph signing, constant touring and performing, and cameras in her face by paparrazi and fans everywhere she goes etc.... I imagine she must be some sort of marter as she is constantly a wanted person by both media and fans all over the world.

I know that all this comes as part and parcel of the profession she is in, and the fact that she has the GREATEST VOICE IN THE WORLD, but even I, when I saw her up close on May 6th 2008 at the O2 Arena went a little crazy when I got to see my idol.

 

BUT..... when we break it all down, at the end of the day she is a NORMAL human being like the rest of us (although a MEGA RICH one!)

 

So my topic question to you all is..... If you won the chance to spend a day with our Celine, on YOUR terms, how and what would you do, or where would u take our QUEEN to show her your life and your community, to entertain her as a normal human being for 24hrs, to take her away from the hustle and bustle of her hectic famous showbiz life??? (She would not be recognised and Money's no expence!)

 

I did search this topic but nothing did come up!!!!

 

Now me myself......

First thing at 8.30am straight up the cafe for a full english breakfast (egg, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding,, tomatoes, beans, chips, toast and tea!)

then straight up to bluewater shopping centre for some retail therapy (we went up in a limo with champers on ice!)

Then after pop along to Pitsey Market for a few bargains.

After shopping we would pop to the local pub, for a typical english pub lunch and a few drinkies. (chas & dave on the juke box)

Then we would go down to my local leisure centre, for a swim, jacuzzi, steam and sauna, then over to the beauty therapy area for an hour in the floatation tank,nails and facial.

Then down to my local Pitch and Putt for some FUN gollfing.

Up to my local hairdressers for a quick wash and blow dry.

Back to mine in the limo with more champers, hopefully were getting a bit merry by now so we like hanging out the roof of the limo!

 

Once back to mine, 2 cans of red bull each, so we can get a bit of a lift ready for the night ahead!!!

While we are getting our glad rags on, we have re-mixed dance music blasting in our ears getting us in the mood!

 

Limo picks us up (hummer limo by the way) , then straight uptown to london.....

Hit the London Eye, Go on a river cruise, Hit a few bars, downing a few cocktails (and raspberry sambuku's) then hit a club (maybe ministry or stringfellows), limo picks us up at approx 4.00am then we have a one last tour round london before heading back to mine, where we collapse and crash out. (we grab a kebab on the way home!)

Weve had LOADS of Laughs along the way, and a good o'l drink

If I get up in time, maybe make her a bacon sarnie before Rene come's and collects her to take her back her lifestyle!!!

 

(As u can see i do like a drink, and if a one off drinking occasion would not hurt Celine's voice, would love her to have a experience a good ol night out in some wicked bars and clubs!!!)

Oh this is fun and is going to be very opposite to Donna's day because I'm a quiet family person.

 

So...to start the day off nicely and because we have some luxury at our disposal, I take Celine and her family (Rene & RC) out for an expensive brunch with my family (my partner and my boys) to the Palliser Hotel here in Calgary. I don't want to wake Celine up too early, plus I'm not an early morning person either. We take our time here and talk a lot to get to know each other!

 

Next, we go home to pick up our dogs and head to Calgary's biggest off-leash area. We walk through the trees to the river (it's beautiful here and back to nature) and the kids have fun watching the many different breads of dogs swimming and fetching logs, toys, etc. RC has a blast getting wet as the dogs shake the water out!! Celine fusses over the animals and shows them love, and maybe even throws out a ball for my giant lab to fetch. Rene and my partner Mary stand back and chat about life.

 

From here, we get picked up by a comfy limo and drive 2 hours to Banff. There's a lot more time to get to know each other, for me to practice my French, and some time for Celine to just relax. We hit the hot springs and the spa before heading to a quaint Banff restaurant for some fine Alberta beef...some juicy steaks!

 

We end the day on my cul-de-sac with a fire in the backyard with the neighbours. The Dion family gets to chat about regular stuff with regular people and the kids play basketball or street hockey out front with RC. He has so much fun just being a kid with the other boys (there's ton of boys between the ages of 5 and 15 on our street). The kids come back into the backyard and we all roast marshmallows and make delicious fire-pit smores.

 

The Dion Family prepares to leave and we send them off with our family portrait including the dogs of course, signed by each one of us. We hope this gets included with Celine's fan momentos and eventually goes up in a special room to remind Celine and her family of the love and respect we have for them, and of the day they spent being regular people!

I would hopet that this would be an interesting topic as we are all different people from different parts of the world with different opinions and views, and it would be great to see what everyone would do as part of there day!!

• 6:30AM - Land in Florida, board Celine's Maybach towards Palm Beach

• 8:00AM - Jog together up and down Palm Beach with Anthony Callea (he happens to be in town on vacation... )

 

• 9:00AM - Brunch at the Four Seasons Palm Beach with Gloria Estefan and Anthony.

 

• 10:30AM - Board plane; Conversations with Celine - I interview Celine with 50 questions that no one has ever asked her!

 

• 12:00PM - Land in Washington D.C.; Dinner hosted by President and Mrs. Barack Obama, with over 100 celebrities and world leaders, at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Wow, I was in Banff at the beginning of June this year. Amazing! I was thinking about doing something like that as well with her If I had the chance to spend some time with Céline.

 

But I'd better show her some parts of Switzerland (yeah yeah, it's not "Swiss" in English like she said in the interview with Yang Lan... She must have confused English and French ) : Go for a hike in the mountains, not in Zermatt, but in a smaller unknown village where I spent a lot of time. And then we should go to a lake for a swim. For example in Lucerne, that would be beautiful. Or a bit nearer would be Lake Geneva. We would spend the evening in a nice chalet in the mountains again.

 

That would be fantastic!

I would invite her to join me in helping me paint my appartment, dressed real casual in jeans and t-shirt and then we would call for a pizza that we would eat sitting on the living room floor talking and laughing all night long without anyone there to take her picture or staring at her. Just a simple and casual evening! but a dream night for Céline in 1992!

 

I don't know if I would do that really eventhough I need to do some painting and some help would be great but I know for sure that it was something Céline was dreaming of doing around 1992. She was asked what she would like to do if she wasn't that successful and busy with the career and all... and if she had more time for her personal life and or a different life. That is what she answered(my first paragraphe)...she always missed a simple life that she didn't have much that's why. I guess everyone needs a balance in their life and Céline has always missed doing simple things with friends and having a lot of time on her hand which she never had really. So if she didn't want to offer me her help for the painting and didn't care for the pizza anymore...we could go for takeout I would make her drive my car, I know she doesn't drive as much as she would like or we could take one of hers that would do just fine by me :

whew! 24 hours huh? sounds tiring. Since she already saw greatest places on earth.Maybe in my case "a little heart to heart talk. Sharing great ideas and stories. Like what are the things that she still wants to do. That she never ever tried in her whole life. Maybe a little pep talk that will make/drew US closer to each other not only as a fan and as a singer.

Wow you guys would sure keep her busy!

 

I'd just tell Celine that she should take care of herself more, listen to what her inner voice is saying, not let be manipulated by Rene that much and then I'd let her hang out the rest of the day with her son.

 

Oh yeah, I'd ask her to sing one song for me. Wouldn't let that opportunity pass!

 

Okay, changed my mind, I would make Celine have a private concert for me, my choice of songs.

I was thinking the same thing.I would first have a massage to com my nerves down, Then go back to her place and either play golf or go summing. after that meet her parents/family talk w them for awhile.Talk all night about any thing, by then its time for bed, shower sing in shower.

I'd take her shopping and she'd blow a few thousand in the Diesel store for me, then we'd head for a pint and lunch...then we'd go for a drive- her driving a Crossfire with the many versions and remixes of IDAN playing, then wI'd take her down Canal St for the night and she'd do a mini-concert for the tootifruities in Essential Nightclub-'IS THAT ALRIGHT ESSENTIAL?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU...!'- then we'd get some greasy chicken at 6am and walk the 2mins to my flat where I'd make her a cup of Earl Grey and we'd head to bed!

Because Celine rarely gets like a proper day off I would leave her do whatever she wanted , even if that was stay in pjs all day and watch movies.

But what I would love to do is go shopping....mostly shoes cos like Celine I'm obsessed , tho I don't have as many as her lol
