I actually have not thought about making music a career until a couple of weeks ago. All I have been doing all these years, from time to time, is just recording and sharing them with people because I consider music as a passion and as a hobby.

But because of very positive response from people - I'm really considering trying this out - getting an agent, going into the studio, songwriting, acquiring publishing rights and publishing my own work. It's a totally a new thing to me that I will need to get expert advice on.

Talking about performance, yes I do perform - mostly, at church.

But I will be giving a full concert set next month. :)

Definitely go for it, Sopha. You're very talented. You should have given a cd of your recordings to Celine as a gift when you met her in New York last month. I think she would've really been impressed.

Where is your recording of 'In Some Small Way'? I remember listening to it in 2004 when Miracle was released and it was excellent.

The Search for "S'il Suffisait d'Aimer"

Okay, I have a big need.

Four years ago, I recorded a piano version of this song and I put it out when I was a member of another forum. Several people downloaded it. If you have an mp3 of it, would you please send it to me? LOL

I've been searching for it for the last two years!

Thanks, bud, so much. :flowers:

I can't believe I didn't even think about making a disc of songs for Celine! LOL It did not even cross my mind. I guess... it only means one thing: Celine and I will have to meet again. :)

It's funny because I'm just listening to my rendition of "In Some Small Way" right now. I did a recording of it in January 2005, as a tribute to the victims of the Asian Tsumani. I am working on a video for it right now, involving poignant photographs of candlelight vigils, faces of people, and various images - to make it a tribute to the human spirit. :)

Thanks so much, Chelsey :)

I started at age 11, as a self-taught pianist. Two months later, I was discovered by some generous people who sponsored my training. After a couple of lessons, my piano instructor skipped me from book two to book six - from beginners' level to intermediate, and I began classical music training immediately with the music of Beethoven and Bach. A few years went by and I was already performing with youth symphonies and choirs and wrote a few compositions during my high school years.

It's a hard answer for me to give you when you ask about studying the piano and being able to do such and such. There is a difference between playing the piano and making music. For me, playing the piano has become almost second nature. Even if I stay away from the piano for a month, I can go back and "it's stil there"... And I wonder to myself at times - "Has it always been there even before I discovered it at 11?" :)

What I can say is that it is never too late to begin studying music. My god grandmother began studying the piano at age 70, and she was able to learn a few songs that she plays for her enjoyment. Truly, this makes sense because things like these are for finding pleasure to energize the heart and the soul. :)

So, don't wait! Start now! :D

You know what? That's a GREAT IDEA!

In fact, I think it would be awesome!

And, perhaps, even quite possible considering my heritage and culture and Charice's. :)

Thanks, darling! :)

I just did a new video last night. Check out my channel :)

Chelsey, my best recommendation is to create a YouTube Playlist. It will autoplay all your selected YouTube videos in the order that you tell it to. :)

Thanks all for such sweet words! :D

Titom and cannonball, PM me with exact songs. I may be able to provide you with some.

Denelle, I think it's lost in one of my hard drives somewhere... And that was a poor recording, nonetheless. Maybe I'll do it at a future jam session or performance, and you'll be the first to hear it.

I've been searching for this for four years! I prepared this arrangement and recorded it back in 2005. And then, I lost it! Yet, amazingly, Michael from Germany was one of the people who downloaded it and kept it all these years! :w00t: Danke schön, Michael! :) Now I get to share it with all of you. :)

Wow, these are amazing. I've never heard anyone play Celine's songs on a piano that sweetly. You have an amazing talent as those have said before me. You could definitely get some kind of career in this if you keep at it.
