I was wondering you you guys thought was the best actress of our generation

We know we have Meryl Streep, Glenn Close and Susan Sarandon...amazing actress...but old

We have Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullok, etc, etc....but kinda old too

 

Who's the best actress of the new wave?

For me it's Hillary Swank

Well, my favourite actresses are Nicole Kidman (too) and Lauren Graham (and Julie Bowen, mostly because she's so pretty ^_^ ), but that's not really answering to this very topic. :D

 

I'm not sure where to draw the line between this generation and the "older" generation, but if I think of the younger actresses there are, Reese Witherspoon is probably the best to me, I think I like her most. Also Kate Hudson is great, as well as Alexis Bledel. They are amazing at acting, plus they all have the looks too!

I can't think of any 'younger' actresses that are at the caliber of the 'older' actresses you mention.

 

Kirsten Dunst, Reese Witherspoon, America Ferrera (loved her from Real Women...) are good, but I want to see them in more projects first.

Have you seen "P.S I love you"...that movie is amazing, I love it. And she is glowing there (so is Gerard Buttler.....mmm...yummy :P )

She's also fantastic in that horror movie about the demoniac girl and the plagues...can't remember the name of it.

Of course, she's credible in other roles, but it's obvious where her talent absolutely shines.

It would have to be Charlize Theron, When I watched "Monster" and "North Country" I was amazed by her acting.

 

She is not only a great acress, but an amazing role model.

If you where to say "actress of all time" the list would be endless, but for this generation, I'm sticking with Ms Theron.

 

I can't really think of any others that I am a fan of...
