Sony unmerging with BMG

Sony has officially bought out BMG and is now Sony Music once again instead of Sony BMG. When Sony was previously without BMG Celine released her two biggest albums, Falling Into You, and Let's Talk About Love. After the merge sales went downhill from there. That could have been because of the decrease in CD sales overall though....or because of the lack of attention to individual artists.

 

Maybe this will be a good thing if/when Celine releases another album. Just thought that was some interesting news, and kind of exciting.
