She has defo had her nose changed - i mean its sooo clear to see.

 

Right you alll want proof: in her biography "The complete Biography" by Lisa Peters if you go to chapter 6 called "Celines Transformation" there is evidentce of her change.

 

. firstly it says " As she approached her eighteenth birthday her appearence seemed like a terrifying obsticle."

 

Then further on it says:

" The little girl child star image was one that she has outgrown. The angelic robes may have helped her success at thirteen fourteen, fifteen and sixteen but now she hated them. In later years celine looked back at photo's of herself as an adolescent and grimaced. Pointing at pictures of her self, she said 'i dont know there's alot of things i dont like, right here' she motioned an area around her nose and laughed: 'my nose is a little big and i have small lips"

 

On the nest page it says:

 

"She had sung the song about a dove for the pope but it was 'The crying Dove' that they called her. It was an image that celine hated. 'I was fed up with being seen as a crying child' celine recalled 'I really had the desire for a change"

"When people made fun of her looks before, she had always been comforted by her mothers philosophy 'if you feel good in your in your own skin, if you feel good about yourself then thats the only thing that matters'. Now five years in to the career it wasn't enough. The right image matterd a great deal - enough to stop her career. When celine complained of being locked in a little girl image, even rene - despite his gruelling schedule of recording sessions and performances he had envisioned- advised her to disappear from the public view for over a year eighteen months to be exact."

 

on the facing page it says:

 

"celine needed a break and sales had dropped for her last two french albums. It was time to change her image. Celine was about to go a dramatic transformation a metamorphosis. During this transformation i wasn't seen too often in public' she remembers."

 

"celine accepted that it would be wise to disappear from people's memories for a while"

 

"One and a half years without giving concerts was really difficult' she admits, but she tried to use the time for 'self-improvement'"

 

"At the time celine suffered a great deal of dental surgery and had her teeth capped."

 

 

I mean none of us can be 100% sure but it is a bit clear that she in that year and 1/2 off that she had a nose made thinner after all she did hate it and no one seen her for that year as she was kept out of sight!!!!!!!!

Ok...I appreciate you typing that up, but it isn't really proof...it's not even an official biography, right? Celine didn't say she had her nose fixed....as long as she says she hasn't, I choose to believe her. I have to, or I'll go nuts wondering Peoples bodies change over time, even their noses. A lot of things can affect that, other than surgery. Anyway I gotta go to work, so I hope you all have a good day.

I was just about to say that isn't one of Celine's official biographies.

 

We all know she had "work" with her teeth and facial features like eyebrows and wearing make up, but she has never stated anything about nose surgery, other than NOT wanting to do it.

I have...honestly, I don't see much difference other than her eyebrows and hair styles and colour

If she did have anything done to her nose I think they did a good job because it's subtle and not that noticeable, which is the way it should be. I'd be kind of be surprised if she did this though because sometimes that could affect the voice.

Whaaat? Are you sure, about the nose thing? Did she actually say it?

Because she has said several times that the only thing she's had done are her teeth! She said she couldn't have her nose done because she's a singer and it would have affected the way her voice sounds. Also that she wouldn't want to say to her child "I used to look like you, but then I had plastic surgery..."

You know noone has enough courage to say that he/she has done a plastic surgery. And as you know Celine is an international star.Can you imagine what would happen if she revealed her ''little'' secret?So i choose to believe my eyes and not Celine.I can see the big difference and that's all.But anyway,i don't accuse her.It's a very personal thing.I want to do a plastic surgery ,too,one day.Not to my nose.Somewhere else

Actually, a lot of celebrities are quite happy to talk about the surgeries they've had And I think Celine is one of the most open people out there- after all, she discussed having her teeth fixed, her love life, her fertility problems, and a heck of a lot of other waaaaay personal stuff that many people wouldn't dream of speaking about LOL! I just can't imagine she would feel the need to hide something like that. It doesn't really make sense to me

 

I think maybe we all just want to believe that Celine sees things the way we do, because we love and admire her. So those of you who want to have plastic surgery done ourselves are happy to assume she's done it, while those of us who are against it hope she never has. Just a general observation. I really think we should give her the benefit of the doubt though, she's shared so much with us, and we have no reason to accuse her of being untruthful.

Thank you for posting this.But i have to say that sometimes isn't good to be so fair with such kind of things.All us in the forum love Celine the way she is.We believe her in everything,there's no reason not to do it.But personally when some things are clear i prefer to admit that.She is a very open person.She has said for example that Rene prefers her without clothes and that she has fixed her teeth.That's ok.I have fixed my teeth too and i can say some things about my boyfriend without to be shy.But i would never say that i had a plastic surgery or for example a face lift,cause im so shy to tell that in the past i had something not that beautifull on me.

I understand what you mean. I guess we have to agree to disagree though, because I really don't think she had it done. I don't think she would have risked the effect it could have had on her voice, at that important time in her career. And I don't think Celine would lie about that. While I love her, if I'm wrong, I'd be dissappointed in her- I just really hate it when people lie.

Sometimes peoples looks just change over time, or they appear different due to a hairstyle, lighting, editing in photos, anything. Maybe that caused it. I don't know.

If you look at the nose on the one from 1984 and 2003 they look the same.

 

& I'm not like against Celine doing something of the sort, I just don't think it looks like she has had any nose work done.

Thankyou for posting those Lea,i can clearly see that her nose is the same in ALL pics

It has much to do with photo angle,make up,shadows,and dont forget touch ups done by mags too.

I was going to say that as well...with airbrushing and things they do now to pics...they can MAKE her look like she has had something done, but I continue to believe she hasn't

I still believe she has had a little bit done - just to the bottom of her nose coz it is a little bigger when she was younger then now a days - she possibly had just a small procedure.

 

I mean there is defo air brushing in some of her picture like the taking chances image were her nose has been made way to thin BUT in other images where she has defo had no air brushing (coz u can still see all her lines under her eyes and if it was air brushed they would defo be air brushed off) you can tell its clearly a little different.

Well in the two posted above me, one she is smiling the other not So there is going to be big differences due to the way smiling effects the shape of the nose.

& personally I think the reason why it looks thinner is because Celine got thinner

Again they all look nearly identical

 

 

Although a small procedure could have been possible I just don't see the logic behind it since she's complained about her nose. If she was doing something small then I'd imagine she'd take care of everything.
