true!! I remember seeing an interview with Toni on tv and she said that she turned down BYLM cos it didn't fit her, and Céline did the same with Spanish Guitar! And they were both quite happy the way it worked out!

"The Reason" was actually written for Aerosmith but somehow it got to Celine and she loved it and recorded it. Carole King tells about it in the Biography Special for Celine

And yes, she turned the song down. It wasn't her style at the time. If the writer would have allowed, she COULD have waited to record it for Lets Talk About Love, it would have fit well into the international version of the album!

Toni's voice is one of the sexiest voices i ever listened to! about Spanish Guitar, i really don't care about this song, but i wish celine recorded How Could an Angel Break My Heart. i sooooo love this song!

"From This Moment On" was originally written for Celine (or someone with the power similar to Celine's). Shania didn't feel her voice suited the song. Shania herself said this during an interview for the TV station, CMT. Anyway, it wasn't until friends and family urged her to try and perform it herself that she decided to record it. The rest as we know is history.

If I'm not mistaken, BYLM was the last song to make it to the FIY tracklist. IACBTMN was supposed to be the first single off her biggest-selling album.
