Lymon Posted July 28, 2008 at 02:08 AM Posted July 28, 2008 at 02:08 AM (edited) As we all know, Celine is the most gorgeous and beautiful creature to ever live( ), but I wanted to try my hand at removing wrinkles and blemishes, to see how well I could do it. At first I tried airbrushing, but that didn't go so well with really HQ pics, so then I tried the healing tool, and it's worked magic. Here are two photos i've done: http://i36.tinypic.com/33kyiyu.png http://i35.tinypic.com/e82t52.png Please leave any comments/suggestions you have Edited July 28, 2008 at 02:10 AM by Lymon Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png
Celinefanatic07 Posted July 28, 2008 at 02:49 AM Posted July 28, 2008 at 02:49 AM No offense But I only see a difference in the first pictures. And I really had to look. But I give you a lot of credit for the effort! Lymon Posted July 28, 2008 at 03:07 AM Author Posted July 28, 2008 at 03:07 AM I don't take offense at all, I love comments. I was going for a more "removing obvious wrinkles/blemishes" thing, and not changing her physical appearence too much, so she still retains the original Celine look. On the 2nd one, yeah I can see how the changes are hard to see from afar, you have to look really close on that one. Thanks for the comment Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png
wolfepaw Posted July 28, 2008 at 08:13 PM Posted July 28, 2008 at 08:13 PM The changes are very subtle, but that's the good thing about it. It's not obvious. I agree with Celinefanatic07, I really only see a difference in the first one. I think I see what you did in the second one, but the lines were so faint to begin with, I'm not sure it really needed the touch-up. There are several other pictures of Celine where she could stand a little "healing", but the second one is not one of those, IMHO. I just downloaded GIMP. I have never used it, but I"m intrigued, so I thought I'd give it a try. Quote http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k85/wolfepaw/Celine%20Dion/CelineTCinGermanySiglayerstrimmed.jpg
wolfepaw Posted July 28, 2008 at 08:15 PM Posted July 28, 2008 at 08:15 PM I do notice some difference in Rene, though. I guess you "healed" him, too. Quote http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k85/wolfepaw/Celine%20Dion/CelineTCinGermanySiglayerstrimmed.jpg
ce-line Posted July 28, 2008 at 09:52 PM Posted July 28, 2008 at 09:52 PM Well done! I hate when people change her so much she's hard to recognize! But one little minus though... I don't think you should remove the wrinkles by her eyes...It's natural to have wrinkles round about the eyes when you smile! wolfepaw Posted August 8, 2008 at 01:41 PM Posted August 8, 2008 at 01:41 PM Because of your topic, I downloaded GIMP and I have been playing around with it. It's got some neat features and tools. Some of the filters are really cool! I would like to thank you for telling us about GIMP, since I had never heard of it. Now if anyone is looking for graphic editing software for free, I can recommend this with no hesitation. Can we see some more of your work? I'd love to see what else you have done using GIMP. SensationalCeline Posted August 13, 2008 at 01:35 AM Posted August 13, 2008 at 01:35 AM I notice it in Rene but not so much in Celine. Quote http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg280/spoiledrottenbrat4063/Celine%20Dion/CELINESIGGY.jpg
Lymon Posted August 21, 2008 at 10:37 PM Author Posted August 21, 2008 at 10:37 PM I think I can see what you all mean on the second picture with Celine. I think that I might have spent so much time on making Rene look better, that I forgot to finish what I had started with Celine. Here's another that I did yesterday: http://i33.tinypic.com/dqt2yo.png Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png
kathyc25 Posted August 22, 2008 at 04:04 PM Posted August 22, 2008 at 04:04 PM These are a good start Try this tutorial...its for photoshop, but GIMP has similar tools...I started with that before I got Photoshop http://www.perrush.be/ps_glamour_retouching_01.html Quote Music Is Life...Live ItYou are the music while the music lasts. ~T.S. Lymon Posted August 26, 2008 at 09:03 PM Author Posted August 26, 2008 at 09:03 PM You made Rene's head look like an ostrich egg.... I couldn't leave him all wrinkley when Celine was so non-wrinkley Thanks for your comments, everyone! Here's another I did: http://i36.tinypic.com/v8pheq.png On this one, as well as removing wrinkles and such, I tried to move the make-up line on her neck down all the way to her chest and cover her chest with the color, so it looks like she has a tan rather than a make-up job. Soloni Posted August 26, 2008 at 09:16 PM Posted August 26, 2008 at 09:16 PM It look great but it think you removed to many Wrikles... she look a little unnatural.... no offense though Quote http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp249/Celinesoloni/nick-huh2.gif When Life Hands You Lemons, Throw Them Back And Yell; I Want Celine DionCelineDionGraphics
