Alex_Incognito Posted July 27, 2008 at 07:00 PM Posted July 27, 2008 at 07:00 PM World Tour TeamCeline Ticket Pick-Up PolicyTeamCeline tickets for the 2008/2009 Taking Chances World Tour will be held at the venue will call for pick-up on the day of the performance. Ticket orders will not be mailed out and the Ticket Fast Print at home tickets option will not be available for TeamCeline tickets. TeamCeline members must present all of the following items to claim their tickets: ticket confirmation e-mail receipt, TeamCeline membership card, photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Without all of these items, you may be denied entry to the event and no refund will be issued. No will call name changes are allowed once the order has been placed. The person whose name appears on the will call list must claim the tickets at the venue. Again, no name changes are allowed.-CelineDion.com I think they want us to strap logs onto our feet, walk into the arena backwards, and list the even numbered tracks on the MIRACLE CD, too. What a crock of crap for lame seats! Can you imagine being denied entry to a concert when you traveled very far and forgot the email receipet or your unimportant Team Celine card? celbabs Posted July 29, 2008 at 04:00 AM Posted July 29, 2008 at 04:00 AM Yeah I agree. And legally, they can't do ANYTHING. You've paid for the ticket. You show up to the venue and give your name and they HAVE to give it to you. Don't let anyone intimidate you. Just start saying how you'll sue the place (American companies FREAK OUT at that) and have one piece of ID (which anyone should have - drivers license, etc) and all will be fine. You in NO WAY need all those items. Just go to the concert, give your name and a picture ID. You'll get in. No question. Quote
CellyDee87 Posted July 29, 2008 at 04:05 AM Posted July 29, 2008 at 04:05 AM Has anybody had any problems so far with claiming their TeamCeline tickets? It seems a bit drastic all this hoopla... Quote
Bellamy Posted July 29, 2008 at 06:31 AM Posted July 29, 2008 at 06:31 AM They never check your TC card, credit card though. The box office usually check your ID card only. But to be safe, you should bring everything they mentioned. But I've never heard of them check everything. Jacqui Posted July 29, 2008 at 07:39 AM Posted July 29, 2008 at 07:39 AM We didn't have any problems, but they did check my TC card and I think My Mum showed them the credit card we used to buy the tickets, and she had to show ID. I would suggest taking all the items anyway, even if you may not need them, just for the sake of avoiding drama... Quote
one_heart_1_hart Posted July 29, 2008 at 10:48 AM Posted July 29, 2008 at 10:48 AM They never ask for it only your ID card But for the sake of problems just take it with you... bruno_oliveira Posted July 30, 2008 at 01:33 AM Posted July 30, 2008 at 01:33 AM imagine thisif i use my father credit card to buy the ticketand of course leave the card with my dad...coz he needs to use it and like many other fans...i get on a plane to travel 10 hours...and they ask for this credit card...its not fair... in this case i can only show my TC card Quote
minniemare5 Posted July 30, 2008 at 01:49 AM Posted July 30, 2008 at 01:49 AM So here's my dilemna...I had to cancel my credit card that I bought the tickets on because charges were placed on it that I didn't make. So now I have a new card with a different number..do you think they'll pitch a fit about that? Quote

SuperLove4Celine Posted July 30, 2008 at 03:52 AM Posted July 30, 2008 at 03:52 AM What I find sad is that this is considered to be "news." All of this information was supplied on TicketMaster and the official website's ticket's information page. Also, what's up with TeamCeline rehashing the toolbar thing almost every week? I understand it's for a good cause and stuff, but serioulsy doing it so much is like shoving it down our throats. If anything it makes me not wanna get the toolbar. Would it seriously be that tough to come up with some interesting facts that we don't know or that the general public may not know? Heck, I'd even go for them rehashing stuff from For Keeps since not every person owns it.- Joe Quote

bethabarry Posted July 30, 2008 at 03:17 PM Posted July 30, 2008 at 03:17 PM I purchased my tickets through ticketmaster (teamceline member also) and when I had to cancel my visa card that got stolen (along with my purse) I wasn't sure what to do. I contacted Ticketmasters customer service email and told them the situation. I said that they could change my shipping options and that I could have them mailed to me. I did not have to indicate teamceline acct # or anything. I had to give them some info....original visa number, date of concert, venue, etc (they will tell you what they need to know). I received my tickets in the mail within 1 week. I am seeing her in Columbus, Ohio in September. It was that easy....give it a try! Quote
Celinenvegas Posted August 7, 2008 at 03:40 AM Posted August 7, 2008 at 03:40 AM Well I'm hoping they don't ask for a 2008 membership card at the Newark NJ box office because my membership expired AFTER I purchased my TC seats and I didn't renew it. It just doesn't seem worth it for $40.00 since I got my discounted tix already. In the past though, they've only asked for a photo ID. I think only twice (out of 13 shows) in Vegas they wanted the TC card. Quote ~J O E Y~

The thing is I orignially purchased them on my mom's credit card, but when she found out how expensive they were (I bought the hot sound package) she wanted it off her card and switched to mine. I called ticketmaster then and was able to get it switched over, so then it was moved to my credit card and I paid it off. Then, my credit card had to be cancelled, and I have a new one now. I just don't want to get there and be screwed! It's so complicated! and because it's not just TC, it's hot sound VIP tickets, I wonder if they will mail them. BTW, had anyone here got the hot sound package for US tour? Are we gonna get info of when/where to show up to the sound check? Quote

Lucie Posted August 10, 2008 at 01:44 AM Posted August 10, 2008 at 01:44 AM I have Team Celine tickets to Ft. Lauderdale & Raleigh next year and I'm getting married in October ... I guess I need to call ticketmaster and see if they'll mail them to me, because I won't have the same ID, CC, etc. after I change my name. I can go pick up the Raleigh one but I don't know if I'll be back in FL before my name is changed. I would feel stupid waiting to change my name just so I can pick up my darn tickets. Dionesque Posted August 11, 2008 at 08:19 PM Posted August 11, 2008 at 08:19 PM I think in any case of issues with TeamCéline - your membership there, TC tickets etc. - the best way is to call them on the phone. When I had some problems with them, I wrote several e-mails first and never got a proper answer, if got any, because sometimes they literaly ignored my e-mail. On the phone they were always helpful and quick with solving the problems. Anyways, talking about picking up the tickets - during the European leg of the tour I have attended a few ticket pick-ups in different countries by myself or going with a friend who had TC tickets. Each time they were asking for a pictured ID. And only once (in Vienna) I've been asked for my TC membership card in order to check my membership number - that's all. They never asked for the e-mail printout or for the credit card. But, of course, to be safe I always made sure to take all necessery documents with me. In my opinion it's not a big deal to take these few things with you, right? And if you have an issue like stolen/expired CC - call them and explain the problem, I'm sure it will get solved properly. Good luck! Loco Posted August 12, 2008 at 08:00 AM Posted August 12, 2008 at 08:00 AM I picked up TeamCeline tickets for Staples Center Show (Dec 2nd, 2008) on November 18th, 2007 when I went to see the AMA ... no problems. I don't think they asked for my team celine card... i just showed them my cc. Quote
minniemare5 Posted August 12, 2008 at 09:22 PM Posted August 12, 2008 at 09:22 PM For those who now have different credit cards from the one they originally purchased tickets on....I called the VIP hotline number (ticketmaster) that's on the bottom of my receipt, and they told me to bring the credit card statement that shows the original purchase of the tickets. I do all my banking online, so they told me to print history log. Hopefully between my new card, my Mom's original card, my credit card statement, my print out receipt, photo I.D, and my TC card, I should be ok. What a pain to get tickets I paid WAY too much for! Hopefully this info helps someone. Deborah Quote
jonny823 Posted August 13, 2008 at 07:26 AM Posted August 13, 2008 at 07:26 AM It was really easy for me. At TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, they have a machine for Will-Call. All I did was stick my credit card in the machine, and my tickets printed out. Quote

Celinenvegas Posted August 14, 2008 at 03:08 AM Posted August 14, 2008 at 03:08 AM I had emailed Ticketmonster and they referred me to Team Celine. I told them that my TC membership expired in February and I didn't renew it and would I have a problem picking up my tix at the venue. This is how they replied (which I'm relieved about): Dear Joey, You’ll see that your TeamCeline membership card does not in fact have an expiry date, only a member since date. Please retain this card and present it when you go to pickup your tickets the night of the concert. Thank you, TeamCeline Quote ~J O E Y~
