Je Danse Dans Ma Tete

I recently got the On Ne Change Pas dvd and this is one of the videos that I love and I wanted to know the translation to it. There was a thread on here that translated songs but I can't find it. If anyone can help with this I would also like to know the translation to Contre Nature, Fais Ce que tu Voudras and Des Mots Qui Sonnent. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

Your new best friend is www.celine-dion.net

It used to be the most up-to-date Celine web page back in the mid 1990's to Celine's break.

Je danse dans ma tête

I dance in my head

L'avenir est planétaire

Y'a six milliards d'humains sur terre

Mais chacun vie sa vie en solitaire

The future is planetary

There are six billion humans on Earth

But everyone lives his live alone

Chacun a ses habitudes

Chacun a ses certitudes

Et l'amour est la pire des solitudes

Everyone has his habits

Everyone has his certitudes

And love is the worst of solitudes

Quand l'univers m'indiffère

Quand j'ai plus envie de rien faire

Quand la vie m'endort comme un somnifère

When I'm indefferent about the Universe

When I don't feel like doing anything

When life puts me to sleep like a soporific

J'ai inventé la formule

Qui vaut mieux que toutes les pilules

Même si ça me donne l'air d'une somnambule

I invented the formula

That beats out all the pills

Even if it makes me look like a sumnambulist

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

I d-d-d-dance in my head

I d-d-d-dance in my head

I d-d-d-dance in my head

Que je sois debout dans le métro

Que je sois assise à mon bureau

Tous les jours les mêmes mots

Les mêmes gestes de robot

Even if I'm standing in the subway

Even if I'm sitting at my desk

Every day the same words

The same robot moves

Y'a d'quoi dev'nir fou

Et vous qu'en pensez-vous?

Y'a vraiment d'quoi dev'nir fou

Mais moi je m'en fou

There's something to become insane

What do you think about that?

There's really something to become insane

But I don't care

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

I d-d-d-dance in my head

I d-d-d-dance in my head

I d-d-d-dance in my head

Quoi qu'on fasse ou quoi qu'on dise

De partout on nous satellise

On nous épie, on nous informatise

What ever we do or what ever we say

From everywhere they stallite us

They watch us, they compute us

A force de la regarder

Je commence à me demander

Si ma télé ne va pas m'avaler

By seeing it so much

I begin to wonder

If my head won't swallow me

Dehors les néons s'allument

All right!

J'préfère regarder la lune

All night ...

Etendue nue sur mon lit

Dans la chaleur de la nuit

Outside neon tubes turn on

All right!

I prefer to watch the moon

All night...

Laid naked on my bed

In the night's heat

Les sirènes de police

Hurlent comme des loups

Je voudrais comme Alice

Tomber dans un grand trou...

Police sirens

Howl like wolves

I would like as Alice

To fall in a big hole...

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

Je de-de-de-danse dans ma tête

I d-d-d-dance in my head

I d-d-d-dance in my head

I d-d-d-dance in my head

The opening lines of this song and those of "Love By Another Name" sound alike.

Thank you so much for your help. I take it your a huge fan of her Incognito stage. That's one of my favorite videos. I've yet to get the album but hopefully I will be able to find it soon. I hadn't heard the song until I got the dvd and I love it. I like her short haircut like that. It looks cute on her.

"Incognito" is available for purchase on TEAM CELINE'S BOUTIQUE. I do suggest you pick it up! No collection is complete without it.

If you need any translation help, too, let me know. Je parle français.

I'm still buidling it up. I have all of her English ones and her D'elles and On Ne Change Pas Cd's but those are the only two French ones for right now. How long have you known French? and what does that last part mean? :giggle:

I started taking French in high school in 2000 when I was 14 years old. I also just graduated college with a major in French langauge and literature. I'm moving to France in late September as an english assistant in the town of Nogent-le-Rotrou, between Chartres and Le Mans.

I sugges taking French courses in high school, college, and studying abroad.

I wanted to take French this year at my school, but my school quit our French program which was a total dissapointment to me. I was so sad, because I was looking forward to taking French. I'm interested in your major. What exactly would you do with that to make money I mean? It sounds interesting. Could you explain more?

Well, I plan on getting the higest degree to teach at the university level. Mixed with education you can teach, or translate. There are many options.

I sat down and translated this with the French that I know. It's in a notebook at home somewhere, unfortunately. I love this song, it's my favorite French song of hers!

I don't know if there's any left, but I know that Amazon.com was selling S'il Suffisait D'amair for $3.99.

I noticed a few mistakes in the translation, and espacially the "télé" thing that has been translated by "head" instead of "TV"!

Yeah....the translations to celine-dion.net aren't always 100%.

I really love Delivre-Moi. Of course Incognito and Lolita are my favorites and I want to know the translation to Lolita. For some reason I couldn't stop listening to that song after I got it. I like Jours de Fievre also. I was listening to it all day yesterday. It's really remarkable. Her vocals sound really different on here but I also like to hear her when she was younger. All over it is beyond a great cd. You were right that no collection was complete without it. :thumbsup2: :flowers:

Hi Alex and everyone! Believe me I can confirm to you for sure that IT IS (télé) that is being said in those Céline lyrics. So she really says I begin to wonder if my TV won't swallow me! Salutations! :bye1:

Oops! I was looking at the wrong part of the song, completely forgetting that it's in there.
