Her First Country Album. For a new label. The album is composed of a mixture of new and old fan-favorite songs, although only one of the songs had previously appeared on one of her albums. The Album has a new Version from "2 Become 1" from her album "0304".

My sister likes her very much...although it's nearly impossible to get anything from her here in Argentina

She managed to get a CD from her..the one with the song "Hands" (she tortured me with that) and also bought the awful soundtrack of "Batman & Robin" because of a song by her there

I'll try to get this new album for her, since her birthday was last Wednesday.

What was the name again? is it out in the US yet?

i had to import mine, it's a country album, it's hard to find out of US and Canada

From what I heard on a few tracks, it sounds pretty country. Not forgetting she worked with John Rich who works with Gretchen Wilson. I'm kinda glad she's gone indie, but that just makes it hard for us fans not in the US.

I've had the album for ages. It's great. I like it more than her last album, although that was great too. "This Way" is still the best Jewel album, in my opinion. Anyway, my favorite song on "Perfectly Clear" is "Love Is A Garden" closely followed by "Stronger Woman". She's fantastic.

she's a real talent, though the only album of hers that i have are "Pieces of You" and "Spirit". i'm a guitarist, so obviously she became one of my musical inspirations.

 

btw, her voice is just ok for me, it sometimes bores me.

I actually like her new country style a lot. Seems like everyone's going country these days, but the style seems to fit her perfectly. "I Do" is definitely a great single.

Mixing this CD took me a while to get it right. I tried to use very little compression and to let the dynamics of my voice express its full range, but it’s hard to go from a whipset to a groan to a scream within 8 bars and capture it with balance and EQ. The music was beautifully recorded and captured by engineer Jeff Baulding, who also engineered my This Way CD. My acoustic stuff was engineered by Erik Hellerman and the CD was mixed by the great Gary Paczosa.

The record has some full band tracks, some acoustic tracks with light coloring by the great Jonathan Yudkin, who played on my Lullaby and Merry Goes ‘Round CDs, and some solo acoustic live tracks as well. Overall, the feel is minimal, focusing on the singing, lyric, and emotion.
