Teodora Posted July 27, 2008 at 09:19 PM Posted July 27, 2008 at 09:19 PM (edited) I found the mag. I won't post it, because it's from another site and I'm not sure if I'm allowed. But here's what her personal chef in Vegas for three and a half years, Olivier Delcol, said about what Celine likes to eat (most of it is in French, maybe someone can transalate; I know French pretty well, but I'm awful at dish names):- tajine de boeuf au citron confit et aux olives;- moules avec frites;- pizzas au four a bois;- terrine de fois gras; - hamburger steak with tea souce (he says Maman Dion used to cook this when Celine was litte);- carpaccio de petoncles aux parfums de vanille et de trouffe blanche (this is a dish he made especially for Celine and Rene). He says he also made them Lebanese and Syrian dishes and that they would eat anything. When Celine had a show, she wouldn't eat dairy products, fat products, any kind of nuts or green tea, because it wasn't good for her vocal chords. He says it's very hard to get fresh products in Vegas, even though some of the best restaurants are in that city, and that he had a deal with a Los Angeles provider, that would bring him fresh products imported from Quebec (or other parts of Canada) and Europe. He says Celine has a very healthy appetite and that once, to make fun, she left on his working table an article that said she was anorexic He says Rene-Charles eats what his parents eat and he preffers hamburgers, hot-dogs, pizzas and pogos (whatever that is) for his kids' parties. As for Rene, he loves "la choucroute", "le cassoulet", and tapas. Finally, he says they don't eat fancy dishes, that he only served them things like caviar a few times of year, at special occassions or for Celine and Rene's romantic dinners. Now, somebody please translate Edited July 27, 2008 at 09:20 PM by Teodora Quote
