She's not spending much time with the perfume line, is Coty that does all the work. It's Sony that does NO work to promote her albums and singles, the things she does spend a lot of time doing. What I'm saying is that they should hire the people from Coty to take care of marketing and sales for her albums and singles too, because they're much better professionals than the Sony people and they care more about her, it seems. I really see nothing wrong with releasing perfumes or whatever. I'm waiting for her clothing line to be honest. Or shoes! She loves shoes, she should desing some Really, one has nothing to do with another, her perfumes are not distracting her from her music, it's Sony that does not do a good job with selling her music, while Coty does a marvelous job at selling her perfumes. I really don't understand why so many people here are upset about her perfume line. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, and the perfumes smell great too. And are reasonably priced so any fan can aford them. Maybe I expressed myself wrong I'm not against Céline releasing parfums or whatever she wants to do different from music. But just against the dimension that this has took. Are we in the... erm 10th parfum now?? Who would have ever imagined when she released the first parfum in 2003 at the same time as the OH album that she would have in the shelves 10 different parfums by 2009? Not me at least! 10 different fragances in roughly 5 years... I just mean that she should do some balance between both fields and compare. Ok, she hasn't do herself a lot of effort to promote her parfums, but just one of the FOUR brilliant photoshoots that she has done for her parfums line is ten times better than any ps made for her music career since 2003, which, btw, there were only made 5, and if we don't call a "photoshoot" the one made for 1F&4T- we have only One Heart, Miracle, D'elles and Taking Chances photoshoots . Miracle isn't considered a new album in her discography but a project apart, so only THREE real photoshoots out of 6 new albums. And need I remind you that Celine releases an album or two every year. She has always done that, apart the years she took off from the music world. There's no other artist that does that, most of the other singers release albums once every 2 years or so. She's been singing in Vegas for 5 years night after night and then right after that she went on a huge world tour! Is nothing enough for you people? What does she have to do? Release an album every month and a single every week to please you'all? Let the woman be and have fun with something else other than music. Quote
