I thought that this would be an interesting post. What Celine Dion song most speaks to you and your life? I know there's too many to choose from, but try to choose just one.

Well, it has changed trhoughout my life.

But I'll stick to "Have you ever been in love" since it was my wedding song

And for my wife it's "If I could" (I know it's a cover, but the only version I know is Celine's) coz I translated it to Spanish for her to understand it, and it never fails to move her.

right now, it's Taking Chances.

Fade Away is a pretty important song in my life now. It doesn't relate to me specifically(i'm not trying to get over a failed relationship), but the main idea of getting over something and moving on is real to me now, since i've had to learn the hard way who your real friends are

There are couple.

 

Je t'aime encore is very special to me because it always makes me think about my little brother who passed away in 1994. It's been a long time I know, but ever since this song came out in 2003 it immediately hit me because of the lyrics.

 

Then there's A New Day Has Come... It was really important for me through 2002 and 2003, I always listened to it before (and after) all the possible special occasions, and when I felt like I needed "strenght" or needed to calm or just anything! It's the most important Céline song to me, my "power song" really!

Taking Chances will be very relevant to me, I'm going to Japan next week and can't speak Japanese and don't like fish!!

 

 

I just feel that almost every song in Taking Chances (TC,A,FA,SS,TT,AWTBI) links to people in very special ways and relates to people's feelings, whether good or bad, it's amazing. I just love this album! It lifts you up and gives you the confidence you need in whatever situation you're in.

yeah I am so glad that I have these songs to listen to. They get me through the tough times. And there is no one better than Celine to sing them!

That's The Way It Is, my happy song. Vole and fly are amazing When I've been through hard times in my life I just put them in and I cry my heart out allot.
