Delta Goodrem Comments on Writing For Celine

Delta Goodrem recently did some promotions for the US release of her "Delta" album on 107.3FM, a radio station in Washington DC. After a very true performance of "In This Life," Delta had a few words on writing for Celine. It was definitely a nice interview. The download link is below.

I bet Delta must of been dissapointet that eyes on me didnt get the recognition it should of got. it was barely released, only celine fans know the song ) bryan mcfadden has probably had an old listen to it and thats it. it is dissapointing this song could of been big but it is gone by the waste sides thanks to whoever it is responsible

That's fantastic, Delta's just lovely Eyes On Me COULD have been great, given the right recognition I hope she writes more for Celine in the future

Man: "Singing at 8:30 AM in Aussie time, we are way off the other end of the world"

Delta: "Oh I love morning singing"

Man: "Delta, that was dead on. I know, you're your own worst critic I'm sure. We all are!"

 

Delta: "Oh yeah I don't need anyone else to say how bad or good, I can always just tell you if it's ____"

 

Man: "Nah!"

 

*laughs*

 

Delta: "You have to be, you have to be. Your own worst critic can be an ugly objective ___"

 

Man: "You worked with Richard Marx !?

 

Delta: "Yeah, that's true! I went to his lovely house and his dog tried to attack me.."

 

Man: "Did he?"

 

Delta: "But I'm ... no, work you know, I'm really lucky cos I've got to collaborate with a lot of incredible writers and umm.. artists and collaborated with some of my favorite artists recently, so ___"

 

Man: "Tell us who have you worked with?"

 

Delta: "Umm.. I wrote a song on Celine Dion's album _____ I wrote I've written a song and I was gonna put it on my album but it didn't end up putting it on my album so it went on Celine's album. She's pretty exciting (excited)"

 

Man: "Is it exciting to have someone like Celine do one of your songs? It must be!"

 

Delta: "Nah!"

 

*laughs*

 

Delta: "Yes!"

 

Man: "I ___ imagine taking your own personal thoughts and feelings"

 

Delta: "Yeah, I know!"

Man: "And yeah sort of having channel them through someone like Celine who you know..."

Delta: "Who's a pro! You know it was incredible... it was really really exciting cos someone you've looked up to and listen to their music all the time and then, singing one... when I started her sing, her voice on this song that I've written is just like... that was amazing! But ____ to work with her.... but we did a duet with Olivia lately. I got to work with a couple of..."

Man: "Olivia's wonderful! We love.."
