"Ave Maria" Used In...

During tonight's episode of the FOX show, So You Think You Can Dance, a number choreographed by Mia Michaels was performed to Celine's rendition of, "Ave Maria." It was very beautiful and eloquent. Also, if one paid close attention enough there was a move reused from "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" in A New Day... used in this number.

Looks like Mia is releasing all the creativity she didn't get a chance to showcase in Vegas.

Oh fantastic! Can't wait to see it, the American So You Think You Can Dance just started here this week so I'll have to keep my eyes and eyes out. Thanks for sharing :flowers:

Did anybody happen to get this on video/YouTube so others can see who didn't get a chance to watch the show?

I also forgot to mention earlier in the week that one of the female dancers used "I Want You To Need Me" as her solo routine. It was good, although I didn't feel the choreography flowed as well as it could have with the song.

Thanks for posting. I didn't know that. Celine's songs must come to mind a lot on there huh? On the first season wasn't one of the prizes at the end a chance to be one of Celine's dancers on her New Day show in Las Vegas? I think that's the only reason I watched it.
