Celine's masterpieces - Your Album of the dream

Hi everybody! Sorry if there is a similar topic in this forum. Suddenly I thought that it would be very interesting for me (and may be for someone else ) to make my own list of Celine's masterpieces. And to read yours. What I mean - not the greatest hits that everybody knows, but the songs that you find absolutely perfect. The amazing combination of her voice, music and lyrics. The songs which you love absolutely and which inspire you always. Not simply your favorite songs - but the songs you can name outstanding. The songs which mean a lot for the world music. It would be very interesting to make my imaginal "album" and compare it with yours.

Yes, I agree - these two albums are so important in Celine's history. And the songs from "D'eux" & "SSDA" are so beautiful. They are full of such a magic tenderness. But I guess that there are some other really outstanding songs from another albums.

And shame on me, I've never heard "Love Lights Up The World" and "Memories". Where are they from?

 

 

"Memories" is from the musical "Cats" so it's not originally hers and it was never recorded, although you can see her sing it here: (dressed up to fit the part as well! )

Absolutely lovely song. Her belts towards the end are spectacular. Oh and I would want to add "Voices That Care" as well.
