& I have downloaded the VLC player, but the files I download don't play in it.

I think my computer is having problems downloading the files as the files are generally large but they are done downloading in like a split second. Is there a certain codec or something of the sort that I seem to be missing?

VLC should work as it has most of the codecs. Something is wrong when the download finishes in a split second. Maybe you entered the wrong username and password. Did you make sure there is enough free space on your drive?

Or it would work if you install 'Power DVD'

Good Luck!

Yes, PowerDVD can read VOB coz VOB is DVD file. If you have a DVD movie, open it using ur computer and u will see that its video files have .VOB extension. Unfortunately PowerDVD is not freeware. The new version is PowerDVD 8 now. Yet, I still love using my POwerDVD 6. Its interface is much better and more user-friendly.
