My family and I [me, my parents, and grandma and grandpa] are planning a two-week road trip from the Milwaukee area to Quebec and the Northeastern US. None of us have ever been out east except for Washington DC, so we're not really sure where we want to visit or stay or anything [and we're leaving in two weeks, lol! ] I, of course, would LOVE to visit the Montreal area, and we're planning on visiting Niagara Falls on the way back... but other than that we have no definite plans. Can anyone help us out? If you live in that area, go there frequently or have ever been there... what is there to do/see? Not just Céline-ish sights, but fun places to go to/eat at/do/see/experience in Quebec, NH, VT, NY, etc.? Has anyone ever made a similar drive or could advise whether it would be easier to drive south through Illinois/Michigan or north through the UP? ANY suggestions anyone has would be amazing. Bralo20 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 I'm planning to travel with a group to the US next year to visit a firedepartment and also some cities. We will visit New York, Providence, Boston and will continue to Canada and visit Montreal and Toronto. When going back to the US (NY) we will stop at the Niagarra Falls and visit the Thousand Islands area. But any good suggestions are welcome, i'm just started planning Quote ...
