imaswede78 Posted July 4, 2008 at 11:13 PM Posted July 4, 2008 at 11:13 PM Hi, I work in retail and my shop loops the Tony Bennett "Duets" CD. I love love love Celine and would rather cut off my arm than criticize but..... I cringe each time their duet is played. The song is oversung and not mixed well with Tony's voice. I remember reading when Celine recorded with Pavaratti the two of them ended up singing in the same room because the duet didn't sound right when they sang separately. I'm almost convinced Tony and Celine didn't sing together and I think it sounds like it. What does anyone else think???
Céline's Blues Posted July 4, 2008 at 11:17 PM Posted July 4, 2008 at 11:17 PM One of her worst. Just up there with The Prayer and I'm Your Angel. And her best duet ever is still "Quand On S'aime" which she recorded at 3 am in the morning. http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg
