sayyed Posted June 30, 2008 at 07:53 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 07:53 PM I just wondered that.... please give your comments. I would have named it LCMM just because it fits so good to a Celine-album-title. Quote https://soundcloud.com/finnremixes
amyja89 Posted June 30, 2008 at 07:56 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 07:56 PM I'll go with If You Asked Me To because it's my fave from the album! Quote

grobandion Posted June 30, 2008 at 08:07 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 08:07 PM I voted for "Celine Dion"... IMHO, it was the perfect choice for an album of a newbie.By the way...what a great album this is, love it Quote
Celinefanatic07 Posted June 30, 2008 at 08:12 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 08:12 PM I picked "Beauty and the Beast" just because that was my favorite song on the album. But I think LCMM would fit really well. angeluk2 Posted June 30, 2008 at 08:21 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 08:21 PM oh this is a toughie Iv always wondered why Unison was not the self titled album as this was her first English album, but i have also got used to the Celine Dion album being called this.I think LCMM would also have been a great album title as it is a lively, strong song and was a single too.erm..... i guess im split between the self title and LCMM? Davey84 Posted June 30, 2008 at 08:39 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 08:39 PM well it's too late to change it now! Taking Chances Posted June 30, 2008 at 09:30 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 09:30 PM Nothing Broken But My Heart or Love Can Move Mountains. The latter suits the album perfectly, though I like the first one better. Quote
reamary Posted June 30, 2008 at 10:08 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 10:08 PM I voted for "Celine Dion", 'cause I think it suits the album the best. I also considered Love Can Move Mountains, that could be good too, I think it's the most powerful song of the album and it would sound good as an album title. Anyway, I think that this is the right album for the selftitle, so that's my choice after all. Si J'etais Quelqu'un Posted July 1, 2008 at 12:14 AM Posted July 1, 2008 at 12:14 AM Do we know why they named her second crossover album Celine Dion? Quote http://oi39.tinypic.com/dzjgva.jpg
Black Kitten Posted July 1, 2008 at 01:04 AM Posted July 1, 2008 at 01:04 AM "celine dion" is a perfect name for this album. in her debut english album Unison, her only contribution is her voice. her producers preveted her to have her say in Unison, which frustrated her big time. and with this second english album, she insisted to really help in the production, so there. it's more "her" so seeing her name as the album title is a reward for her. CélineSourit Posted July 1, 2008 at 02:39 AM Posted July 1, 2008 at 02:39 AM I voted for "If You Asked Me To". I would have been a great album title. Quote

Lymon Posted July 1, 2008 at 01:57 PM Posted July 1, 2008 at 01:57 PM Halfway to Heaven would've been a good title, but i'm fine with Celine Dion. It was a good title choice, and showed, as another user pointed out, that this was her album, and she had assumed more control over it. Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png
CelionDion Posted July 2, 2008 at 12:22 AM Posted July 2, 2008 at 12:22 AM Show Some Emotion would have been great! Celine Dion is definitely not a good title since it wasn't an introduction to Celine or something. Quote http://showstalker.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/celine-dion-doctorate-laval-univ-2.jpg
Jan Posted July 2, 2008 at 10:05 AM Posted July 2, 2008 at 10:05 AM Interesting topic. I don't like it when singers give their own name to one of their albums, however it is quite common. Most singers come out with a self-titled album sooner or later. Even Céline thinks the title 'Celine Dion' is banal. There's a reference in My Sotry, My Dream when she talks about her albums. Unfortunately I don't have the book so I can't quote the relevant part. Quote

godessceline Posted July 2, 2008 at 04:41 PM Posted July 2, 2008 at 04:41 PM well...my first instinct was to go with "halfway to ehaven" but now that I think about it it sounds kinda corny. I'd probably go with With This Tear. Quote http://image71.webshots.com/71/0/85/81/2396085810060336923zxaiTG_ph.jpg "...and let me tell you...if René thought that he was the bus...but forget about it.
