Hey everybody,

 

I have a question regarding the song(s) "Je sais pas" and "I Don't Know." I was wondering if anybody knows what the "J" stands for in J. Kapler's name. He is one of the songwriters. I have searched many sites and resources and have yet to come up with anything.

I guess it stands for Jimmy Kapler, as that's the name used on Michel Sardou's songs as in "Dis Moi"

J. Kapler is the pseudonyme in fact. The songwrtter is Robert Goldman, Jean-Jacques Goldman's brother who wrote "D'eux" & "S'il suffisait d'aimer" (french albums)

the goldman-brothers are just some of the best songwriters on earth (at least i think so! )!

 

i love jean-jacques' lyrics, it's not all the time "i love you, don't leave me"! ok, it's quite the same but with much more beautiful words! and "je sais pas" is my very favourite céline song! it's french, i like the lyrics, and her voice was in a top shape when she recorded it!
