SuperLove4Celine Posted June 29, 2008 at 02:28 AM Posted June 29, 2008 at 02:28 AM Hey everybody, I have a question regarding the song(s) "Je sais pas" and "I Don't Know." I was wondering if anybody knows what the "J" stands for in J. Kapler's name. He is one of the songwriters. I have searched many sites and resources and have yet to come up with anything. Thank you for your help! - Joe Quote

Loup_garou Posted June 29, 2008 at 04:07 AM Posted June 29, 2008 at 04:07 AM I guess it stands for Jimmy Kapler, as that's the name used on Michel Sardou's songs as in "Dis Moi" Quote

dawn Posted June 29, 2008 at 09:29 AM Posted June 29, 2008 at 09:29 AM His real name's Robert Goldman and he's a brother of JJ Goldman, J. Kapler's a pseudonym. http://www.parler-de-sa-vie.net/index2.html Petit détail amusant : Isabelle Boulay, dans son album, remercie Jimmy Kapler, alors que Yannick Noah, lui, penche en faveur de Jeannot Kapler. L'Eurovision créditait Jill Kapler. Quote

MusicSmiley Posted June 30, 2008 at 06:23 PM Posted June 30, 2008 at 06:23 PM the goldman-brothers are just some of the best songwriters on earth (at least i think so! )! i love jean-jacques' lyrics, it's not all the time "i love you, don't leave me"! ok, it's quite the same but with much more beautiful words! and "je sais pas" is my very favourite céline song! it's french, i like the lyrics, and her voice was in a top shape when she recorded it!
